An easy way to make money and to raise your crafting lvl is if your a member travel to the tree gnome stronghold and put everything you are wearing and are holding into the bank there. Next pick some Flax that respawns near the bank, then go to the spinning wheel and spin it, repeat. You can sell bow strings for 100 each.
