Fur ‘n’ Seek Guide

Requirements:
– Combat level 50+
– Slayer level 25+
– Must have completed Rag and Bone man Quest
– Must be P2P/Member

Quest Difficulty/ Length:
– Novice – Medium

Starting the Quest:
To start the quest you must go see the Odd old man North East of Varrock (The same NPC for Rag and Bone Man).

Items to bring along:
Mirrior Shield, 9 Logs and Tinderbox, 9 salt

Suggested items to bring:
Tele runes/tabs for Varrock and Camelot

Starting Quest:

~ Once you talk to the odd old man he will tell you the museum has asked him to retrieve some animals for the Varrock Museum. The Odd Old Man will ask you for 9 animals (all these animals are found within the range of the fremenik city Rellekka);

*Note: Recommended to use Mirror Shield when fighting Cockatrice. They can be bought from Slayer Shops or Grand Exchange. When getting this its suggested to buy 9 Salt as well.*

Black Unicorn: Found East of Rellekka
White Unicorn: Found East of Rellekka
Hobgoblin: Inside Rellekka village, North-East by the water
Fox: West of the bridge to get to Rellekka, or East of Rellekka
Fenris Wolf: South of Rellekka
Grizzly Bear: East of rellekka near the unicorns
Cockatrice: Slayer Dungeon (East of Golden Apple Tree which is Far east of Rellekka)
Cave Crawler: Also in Slayer Dungeon
Rock Crabs: Found at the same spot as Hobgoblins in Rellekka village

~ After collecting all the pelts from these animals (they drop after you kill them) you will need to scrub them with salt which you can buy from grand exchange or slayer shops. To scrub the pelts all you need to do is click the salt (use the salt) and then click on the pelt you wish to scrub, the name of the pelt will change and the image will as well after scrubbing.

~ When all 9 pelts are scrubbed you will need to heat them by a fire. For this you will need 9 logs which you can buy or chop from a tree. The Odd Old Man tells you that beside the east house near him there is a fire pit where you can place your logs to light, and and bone rock to stretch the skins on. To do so just left click the fire pit and your character will place down a log, then click the bone rack and he will then stretch the skin across it to be heated. You can then pick up your skin once the fire goes out.

~ When heating the 9th pelt (Rock crab’s) you will find out that you aren’t able to stretch it across. Talk to the Odd Old Man about this and you will find out the sack on his pack lied and that wasn’t one of the animal’s and it was just to make you waste your time. Finally give him all the Tanned Pelts and you will be rewarded!
