Although making millions of coins in RuneScape is considerably easier than doing it in real life, there are still a few things that players have to remember to help get them to their goal.  Chief among them is being able to analyze and observe the financial comings and going of other players.  Playing this virtual game is a lot like playing the stock market, knowing when to buy and sell will get players anywhere.

One good example of this can be found in silks.  If players are able to buy a lot of silks for 2 coins each, then sell them for 60 coins each, they can make a substantial profit in a mere matter of minutes.  The same can be said for almost any item or trade in the RuneScape realm, if players are patient and watchful.

If players have a specific trade that they are good at, and they have attained a high skill level, then the best thing to do is find a way to market that trade and make money.  Examples of this vary widely depending on what the trade is, but a good example is mining.  If players have a lower level mining score, then they can mine iron, which usually sells for 100 coins per ore.  Once they advance in level, they can move up to mining coal and mirth, which sell for approximately 150 and 275 coins each, respectively.  When they advance to a level seventy, they can mine adamant ore, which easily sells for 12,000 coins.  If a player were to mine 100 ores, then they could make a million gold pieces. 

However, attaining the money isn’t the only thing players have to remember; they also have to keep and even increase their millions.  Some of the easiest ways to lose money in RuneScape are through bad trading deals and scams set up by other players.  There are a few simple rules that players can follow to avoid this.  The first of which is to be wary of who they trust.  While players might hear about good deals or have an offer to double their money, they should remember that what sounds too good to be true probably is. 

Another thing to keep in mind are the rules of supply and demand.  Don’t buy items during the peak trading times.  Because there are more gamers online, business is up, and merchants want to make the most of their money, so they will charge more.  Also, players should try not to show when they’re desperate for something.  Others can tell when they are in dire need of something, and they will raise the price because they know players will pay it. 

Players who are persistent in their skill and work at achieving a higher level will find that making millions in RuneScape is not difficult, merely time consuming.  In spite of this drawback, making money this way is rewarding because players  make the virtual experience that much richer.
