To be fair, It’s hard to judge this. There were so many people at all 3 Wolf Respawn Locations when i went to do it, that the Level 654 Wolf died within 10 seconds. Almost 18.000 lifepoints gone like that. Hopefully I won’t be piled like that on the 1st of Feburary.

The total frustration lies in the fact that i went 25 minutes without seeing a Hati Wolf spawn, and when i did i got bones. So that adds another 10 minutes waiting for it to spawn again.

The good news is, that you only have to hit a 1 on the wolf in order to get a drop from it. And the Gloves and head are quite frequent drops. You have to be pretty unlucky just to get bones.

As for the drops themselves, the gloves offer double combat Exp (attack, Strength, Ranged, Defence, Constitution, Strength) for 10 hours. Not too bad. However you may only have one pair with an expiration date.

Overall, Way to make a fun event Jagex. A 10 minute re-spawn is too slow, especially when there are 3 spawns. If everyone wants to go, they’re going to be spread pretty thickly. I guess the real challange will come in a few days when “New Update Fever” wears off.

These were the words in one of the most important update announcements in the history of Runescape. After taking from the players the ability to trade freely and what has been known as the ‘Old Wilderness’, Jagex are going to give it all back.

The 1st of February is going to be a grand day, surely.

If you’re a big Runescape fan, and also share a love for sci-fi and futuristic gaming worlds, it’s likely you’ve been following Stellar Dawn since it was announced.

For those of you who don’t know, Stellar Dawn is Jagex’ next MMORPG, set in a sci-fi environment and is set to come out in 2011. Obviously that’s a bit vague, but don’t fear, there are some excellent news. You can now sign up for the closed beta and hope to get selected so you can try out the exciting new game before everyone else!

To do so, go to the Official Stellar Dawn Website and sign up. You’ll need to allow the website to check for your computer specs so you can successfully apply.

Jagex have been doing some competitions on the game’s website, so check back there often for more!

Today is the day.

At 12Pm (GMT) today the referendum poll will be closed.After getting the initial 1.2 Million votes on the general interest in less then 24 hours the referendum was released whereby you had to log in with your account to vote. This made the voting somewhat more reliable, and it has taken a good few weeks to mass the same amount. The question is…Is it enough?

Will 1.2 million votes be enough to secure the return of the wilderness and Free trade?
