Request Wiki Articles

Well, I am not exactly sure what everyone wants/thinks is important. I will add some wiki articles that you guys want. Just post article(s) that you would like to see on the wiki. I will try to write one up for them. Also, anyone could write the articles that are suggested, and even more can help edit.

Also, on a pinned topic and/or a link on the front page of the wiki should give a list of articles that are wanted. On the wiki, people can edit the page that states what is wanted with more items that are wanted. On this site, people can post in the topic, and maybe someone will periodically edit the first post in the topic with a running list of what is wanted. This way we know some things that people think are important and people want to see.

Sure, there is the "Special: Wanted Pages", but that's just based off of how many links there are to them.

I hope it's okay with you if I stick this thread, so this thread becomes the thread you were talking about. The name is already appropriate for that sort of thread.

welll... despite the hideous bump, i feel the equipment section is in dire need of saving. someone needs to go in and just lay out the whole format and structure, because everytime someone adds something now, they do it a different way and then someone pounces and changes it and soon it's a mess.

I'm considering doing it myself, or at least the F2P items...

Wiki is hard to manage,

i've deleted and edited quite a lot of spam for the last few days. And you are allowed
to "bump" this thread, just this once, don't do it again.

I'm disappointed in the lack of interest in the wiki anymore. it is quite a large task, but it seems most people can't submit a simple article without grammar errors, misspellings, or just general stupidity...

The problem is there's really no reward for putting in effort, and submitting quality work. I almost feel cheated when i submit things to no response. and i DO feel cheated when some scumbag adds a sentence and then slaps his name on the bottom.

There needs to be some sort of visual 'leaderboard' or point system, or something. even just the ability to thumbs up or thumbs down an article. In my opinion.

there are already SO MANY runescape help sites, that you would have to do something GROUNDBREAKING to make any impact. sorry.

no matter what you could contribute to the wiki, it's already been typed somewhere....

but don't let that dampen your spirits, please contribute.

I will tell marc that you requested an article for Runescape Classic.

As for everything else, we can't control their minds or what they think, or how they
speak. Best we can do now is help out with forums and Wiki.

About Wiki,

Another member PMed me about a "Moderator" status on the Wiki, i don't think that
is possible, but it could be. Or a special link of editing for the whole day, that the
special member, or moderator can check easily, and edit easily if necessary.

Moderators on the wiki can't be on the forums as well, i believe that is too much work.
However, the moderators on wiki can have special name on the forums. And the same
goes for Forum moderators to Wiki.

But it hasn't been decided, i have to ask marc about this.

Hi guys not trying to be fussy or anything but on the skills part of wiki there is no mining guide?????? i have loads of helpfull tips i can put on but i dont understand the adding the artical bit so can someone add a minning part please.
