Ok, you have just come off tutorial island and you really want to check out the skill you learnt about on tutorial island (minning), go south a bit from the lumbridge tutor and cross the bridge to the goblins and head north. As you follow the path up you should pass: A house with goblins in, A cow Field, A Chicken Coop and a potato field. you should hit a T crossing. Take the West path and follow the path up into Varrock.
Head to the center of varrock and take a West turning past the Red and white tent (Deamon Slayer Quest Start Inside The Tent) enter the bank and bank all your items and equipt you pickaxe, so you should have an empty inventory and have only your pickaxe equipted. Head on out up out of the top of the bank and then enter the Grand Exchange (GE), go to the North East part of the GE and talk to Farid Morrisane (Ores) and find out which is worth more money out of Copper and Tin. Once you no which ore is more expensive re-trace your steps back to the entrance of varrock and head on up to the center again, this time take the East path along and walk straight past the bank and out the citys east gate.
Follow the path south and enter the mine which should be on the left on the road. Now mine a full inventory (28 ores) of the most expensive ore (out of copper and tin) then head back to the bank you just passed and store the ores. Repeat untill you reach lvl 21 minning, only minning the ore which you found as the most expensive. Now head to the grande exchange, sell the copper, and buy a mithril, adament and rune pickaxe. ( If you cant afford them all dont worry as they can wait but it saves time so if you can buy them all, do.
Did you no that its only 5018 xp between Level 1 and Level 21 and thats only 287 copper or tin?
(-- The Money Road - Part 2 --)
Ok now bank your bronze, Adamant and rune pickaxe, and if you can equipt the mithril pick axe but if not leave it in your invetory. Now you can choose to stay at the same minning spot and just mine lots and lots of iron ore or head to another minning spot which is usefull for minning iron, The Alkharid mine. Head south from the mine you have been minning at and you should see a gap in the fence. Go through the gap and carry on south untill you can enter the mine.
There are a few level 14 scorpains around so avoid them unless you can easily kill them. There are two iron rocks near the front of the mine so mine a full inventory of iron ore then go out of the mine south and when you reach a path follow it to the east, you should come in contact with a fence and a gate, go through the gate and ijnore the duel arena notice, follow on up round and you should come across a building, east of the building is a bank chest bank and repeat. You should keep doing this untill you get to level 41 minning (remembering to change pick to adamant when you reach 31 minning) and then head to the GE. Now sell all your iron and buy rune pick if you havent already.
Did you know that its only 36,153 experaince from level 21 to level 41 and thats only 1033 iron!
(-- The Money Road - Part 3 --)
Now you will make your first big choice in minning, You can carry on minning iron as it will be alot faster now but your get smaller profit or you can start to mine coal for bigger profits but it will be a bit slower. Coal gives more experaince but it will be slower then iron but iron will be mined faster so its a bit even which ever way you go. I personly would carry on with iron as i find its fairly fast and you can make nice profits out of it. If you pick the iron path then stay at the two spots that are stated above, Alkharid mine and varrock east mine. If you decide to mine coal there is a spot which i like to mine at which has 7 coal rocks, 5 mithril and 2 adamant and is empty most of the time so its brillant to mine coal as the dwarven mines are always full.
Ok make your way back to lumbrige (were you started off) if you can use homeport as it will cut the journey in half. Exit lumbridge castle from the east side and follow the path north, you should pass a furnace and a sheep farm, follow the path round to the west and keep going, You should pass a few corn fields and a chicken farm, once you reach the cross roads which looks like this + Take the southern path and follow it down past the houses you should pass some houses and a bank (you will be banking your ore here). Now keep going down untill you meet a big bridge the turn east and follow the coast line down. You should end up by the mine and just mine the coal and bank it untill you reach level 60.
Did you know its 232,517 Experaince from level 41 minning to level 60, thats 6,645 Iron or 4,652 Coal.
Well done you can now mine in the minning guild!
(-- The Money Road - Part 4 --)
Well done! You can now enter the minning guild, here is were you get money, fast. Ok go back to Varrock Center and head west along the path, carry on through barabarin village and it should curve off to the south-west. carry on down the path and take the southern path off of the 3 way split road. Follow down into falador. Welcome to falador, home of minning and smiting. Head down the south-east path and carry on down to the bank. Ok your close to the Minning guild now. Just head south behind the bank and climb down one of the 4 ladders and you inside the minning guild. Only mine the first 6 -8 coal rocks in a cycle to save lots of time. Mine here till level 85 or 86 minning. Your proberly thinking. Why 85 OR 86? because at 85 you can mine rune yes, but minning rune at 86 is faster. Trust me its worth the wait.
(-- The Money Road - Part 5 --)
Nice one. You playing with the big boys now, Ok head to the grand exchange, sell all you ores, bank your cash and head straight to wildy with your rune pickaxe. Run to level 40-41 wildy and find the rune spawn (above a stream of lava) and mine, rune rocks take 15-20 mins to respawn so swich worlds once you have mined the two rocks untill you have your self an invo of rune, walk back to Bounty hunter bank. Bank and repeat. Once you have 100-200 rune ore go to the grand exchange and sell it all. Repeat to you are level 99 minning WELL DONE! Now if your a member head to the minning guilds entrance and buy the skill cape off the dwarf wearing one. Good luck rolling in cash and having a 99 skill.
(-- The Experiance Road - Part 1 --)
Hey guys! You want to try and level your minning fast and you dont care about money? Well this is possibley the easyist way there is! First of all i recomend you get all pickaxes from iron-rune trying to get money from other means nessesary. Ok your at lumbridge, Head to the bank which is at the top of the castle and withdraw your iron pickaxe and steel pickaxe. bank everything else and equipt the iron pickaxe. Head north from lumbridge passing a sheep field and a furnace then head west. Follow this path through the crossroads + and carry on. You will then hit a T junction with a chicken farm above follow that along and carry on west through the upside down T junction and you should then hit a split road > take the bottom fork and carry on down into Rigminton. If you head a little North-East of Rigminton center you should enter the mine. Mine the copper or tin doesnt matter and when you have a full inventory head back into Rigminton and sell it at general store. Repeat till you are lvl 21 minning (remember to swap picks at lvl 6 minning).
(-- The Experiance Road - Part 2 --)
(-- Minning Spots - How to get there --) PLEASE NOTE:These directions will all be coming starting at lumbridge to the minning spot. Varrock West Mine = Go south a bit from the lumbridge tutor and cross the bridge to the goblins and head north. As you follow the path up you should pass: A house with goblins in, A cow Field, A Chicken Coop and a potato field. you should hit a T crossing. Take the West path and follow the path up into Varrock. Follow the path to the center and then take the East path along and walk straight past the bank and out the citys east gate. Follow the path south and enter the mine which should be on the left on the road. Alkharid Mine = WARNING = This mine contains level 14 scorpians if your under lvl 20 i advice to keep away. The shorter route recquires 10gp, if you dont have that follow step two of the Money road to find out how to get there for free from Varrock West Mine. Go south a bit from the lumbridge tutor and cross the bridge to the goblins and go towards the toll gate. Right click the gate and select pay toll and you should automaticly pass through the gate leaving your 10 gold coins behind. Now head north from the toll gate and you should come to some kind of casum. Go inside and there should be loads of diffrent types of rocks MORE BEING WRITTEN
