 The Sewers of Varrock and How to Milk Gold From It
Hiya, this is the penguin/turkey whos going to tell you about ways to make money (and gain levels) by exploiting some of the biggest creatures in Runescape, giants.
Giants drop big bones. Hands down, thats the best part about them. They sell from 300-half a thousand coins each. I think that the best way to get them are from mossies. They are level 43, and generally don't have noobs attacking them. If it is getting too crowded for you, then world hop.
The mossies that should be killed are in the Varrock Sewer. Go to the Runescape Knowledge Base as there should be a map there.
You should have, depending on your HP level, either salmon or trout. Take about 14 of them to 24. If your magic is not at least 25, take a whole inventory. If your magic is 25 or above, take 1 law rune, at least 3 air runes or a staff, and (a) fire rune(s) or a staff of fire.
Your armour should be full rune, adament, or mithril. If you have a rune Chainbody, thats ok. You might want to take a power ammy.
Attack the giants until you get a full inventory of Big Bones. Heal when necessary. Salmon heals 9hp and trout heals 7 hp. After getting the bones, you can either teleport Varrock or attack the Deadly Red Spiders for experience. When you have low health (8-10) teleport. Deadly Reds can hit up to a 4 and Moss Giants can hit up to a 6.
Make sure that you collect every last big bone. Mossies can also drop uncut emeralds, which are worth 2 big bones so make sure that you collect them too. The can drop natures (6), laws (3), cosmics (3), earths(27), airs and deaths (3). Make sure that you collect the runes as they are stackable. I suggest that if you have full health and no inventory and just got a kill, bury a big bone, pick up the new big bone and if the drop is more than 400 gp, bury another big bone and collect that too. Collect the coins as they are stackable (duh) and Mossies can drop up to about 300 of them.
If the mossies are too tough for you, then go to the hill giants. You will need a BRASS KEY or not be afraid of REVERENTS.
If the Mossies prove too hard for you, then you can always collect RED SPIDERS EGGS. They are worth about1/2 of a big bone. Kill the Deadly Red Spiders for excellent training. They pile on you and you can have 4 or more waiting to be killed. And theres always more to come. Rune Armour is suggested to have a long stay. If you are running low on health, either teleport or run like hell. You should run at about 15 health if you have got 4 deadly reds on you.
