1.0-INTRODUCTION
Combat is the primary skill in runescape for most people. They get money from PK (Player Killing). It is a very easy skill, you just need a sword and a shield to start (a armour would help too).

2.0-ARMOURS AND WEAPONS
BRONZE- This is the worst armour in runescape. It won’t cost you more than 1k.
IRON- This armour is used by many, like pures and newbs. It can cost you up to 2k.
STEEL- This armour isn’t used by many, because most people save money to buy mithril armour. It costs like 4k.
BLACK- Usually, people use this because they think it’s cool not because of its defensive bonus. It can cost you up to 15k.
MITHRIL- You can see many using this armour, either because they can’t afford adamant or they don’t have level to use adamant. It can cost you up to 15k.
ADAMANT- This armour is used by people who think rune is too expensive, and it is really a huge difference between the cost of adamant and rune. It usually worths 40k.
RUNE- This is the best F2P armour and because of that it’s used by many. It can cost you up to 200k.

3.0-WHERE TO TRAIN
Level 3-15
Try to get yourself armour and go and kill chickens in the south Falador farm.
Always save the feathers you get from those chickens so you can get money to better armours (they can be sold by 10gp each), and always bury your bones for prayer experience.
Level 15-30
Congratulations you just got to level 15. Now I advise you to train on the south Falador cows because they are level 2 and have 8 hp. Instead of dropping feathers, cows drop cowhides which can be sold for more than 100gp each, so store them.
Level 30-40
Now that you are level 30 I hope you have at least mithril armour, If you don’t, get one from the money you made by selling those cowhides and feathers. Most people would advise you to train on Al-Kharid Warriors, but I prefer training on level 11 dwarves or level 13 zombies. You can find the dwarves in the stairs to the Dwarven Mine near the Ice Mountain and you can find level 13 zombies in the Draynor Sewers.
Level 40-60
Congratulations! You are now level 40. I advise you to buy some adamant armour now. Once you are level 40, you have two choices in my opinion, Jail Guards for xp and Hill Giants for money. You can find Hill Giants in the Edgeville Dungeon but I advise to get a brass key and go trough the house next to he cooking guild. To get money from them always store the big bones, limpwurt roots and valuable runes. Jail Guards can be found in the Draynor Jail. When you get to level 55 I advise you to buy some rune armour if you can afford it.
Level 60-65
Congratulations! You are now level 60. Now, I advise to do Dragon Slayer and train on the Moss Giants in Crandor. At this point, you must have rune armour. If you don’t and you can’t get the money to it, read a moneymaking guide, or simply sell the items you got from the monsters you killed.
Level 65-80
Now, you have two choices, Moss Giants or Ice Giants, who are found in the blurite cave south of Port Sarim.
Level 80-126
Now, you should have some personal experience and you can train with the monsters you thought were good. You can also move on to Lesser Demons if you want to. Getting high combat levels in the F2P world is hard so you will need some hours.
