| Best $ Making Tricks, Combat, Tips, and PKing guide Deluxe Runescape2 Guide ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If you want to find one of the chapters faster hold Ctrl-F and type what chapter you want. Table of Contents: 1.) Introduction 2.) Tips 3.) Combat 3A- Where to upgrade 3B- Weapons/Armour 4.) Financial 4A- strategies 4B- cost of items 5.) PKing (player killing) 5A- strategies 1.) Introduction: This Guide was produced by stormball15 and may not be distributed in any way without permission from me. The guide will help in different areas that many people have difficulties with such as Combat, Money, and Player Killing in the Wildy. This guide is different than most because it carries humor and personal opinions that help get past boring parts and help upgrade faster. I hope this guide helps you through your adventure in Runescape 2. 2.) Tips When you're in your bank account at the bottom left-hand corner you will find two buttons that say item and note. The Item button tell the bank to give you the actual item. The note button tells the bank to give note of the object you choose and will be able to stack in your inventory making it easier to trade goods. Another good use in the bank is useing different colors and effects to catch the consumers attention when trying to sell something. There are 5 different colors to choose from they are red, green, cyan, purple, and white. They can be accessed by typing in, for example "red:hello" (without parenthesis) and the hello will turn red during its appearance. There are 11 effects you may use for the same purposes of profit in the bank and they are flash1, flash2, flash3, glow1, glow2, glow3, wave, wave2, shake, scroll, and slide. They can be accessed by typing in for instance "flash1:good bye" (without parenthesis) and the flash will take affect. Try combining these as well for add attention. Use the map uploader at the top of your Runescape screen, under the ads in F2P, after the world select screen to help find key locations. Mages and Archers should always try to find something between themselves and their opponent for easy combat. Such as rocks, fences, mushrooms, adn sometimes even players. Thats all for the basic tips now lets move onto combat. 3.) Combat I have have found it difficult to find a suitable place to upgrade my character perfectly, but there a lot of alternate places to go train. It is always important to bring food and the newest armor and weapons that you have available to you. 3A.) Where to upgrade I'll start with the beginners and work my way up with beginner-medium, medium, medium-pro, to pro. Beginner: For the beginner it is probably the easiest since all you need to do is go to varrock and go directly North of the Eastern, smaller bank. You can only upgrade attack so upgrade yourself up to a certain number and we start with the actual fighting. Start off with lvl 2-5 goblins and cows near Lumbridge and when your done with leveling your combat stats up around 18, perferably above that, and you can be considered yourself a beginner-medium. Beginner-Medium: The beginner-medium takes a little longer than the beginner just because it is dealing with tougher enemies. There are three different locations that I find to be the most likely places to upgrade. They are The Dwarven mine North of Falador- the dwarves are level 10 so watch out; and at Al Kharid Palace- the Kharid warriors are level 9 each but it can easily turn into a multi-person battle, which means the more than 1 warrior will attack you if you attack one of their "brothers". Upgrade your combat skills up around 29, perferably above it, and you can consider yourself as a medium fighter. Medium: For the Mudium Runescape hero you should start off with going to a few different locations and see which ones best help your fighting technique. The first one is the Draynor dungeons area where you will find some skeletons in sewers and also zombies. Another place is in Al Kharid where you will go into the mining area and fight level 14. Another place to do some combat training is the dungeon area south of Rummington known as the Ice Caves. Figth the level 28 hobgoblins. One other place is just Northeast of the Cooking Guild next to Varrock, but it takes a bronze key to get into it. Upgrade your skills up around 46, perferably higher, and you can consider yourself a medium-pro. Medium-pro: If you venture deeper into the Ice Caves you fal upon other creatures with harder levels. Another place to train at this level is at the edgeville dungeon. You will find a wide variety of monsters to attack against. Keep on training there until you are level 57 and try training at the Karamja Mountain dungeon. Once you have finished leveling off at the Karamja Mountain you should have your combat skills up around 63. This is when the real treasues come in and the real fighting happens. Remember though don't forget to use good food, Armor and Weapons. Pro: As a pro you have become one of the best at fighting and you need challenges to make it worth your time. These locations are hard but definetely give a good fight. At the Karamja Dungeon (Lesser Demons), Edgeville dungeon (hellhounds), Ice Caves (Ice Dragons in the danger hole), and Varrock Dungeon (Skeletons and Zombies) are all great places to upgrade yourself. All of the places should give you the combat level higher than 95. 3B.) Weapons\Armour Some weapons are better than others and same with Armor so I'm going to give you the weapons and armor list straight to you. Certain people like different setups so experiment with different armor and weapons to find the best performance. Try different types of armour and weapon to get the best out of the gaming experience and make sure you are not trying to look good when fighting, because that can cause an unneccessary death. Always fight with your best armor unless you are in the wilderness in which you should always have the second to best armor you can apply to yourself or backup armor that is equivelant to your best armor. 4.) $Financial$ Money, money, money. Thats what it seems Runescape has come to live on. Without money you wouldn't be able to get the items or perhaps skills you want faster. It also makes the economy bigger in Runescape. 4A.) Strategies for Money Making There are several different ways to earn money. I'm going to bullet them so you can get a clearer idea of what I mean. Use plain old battles against monsters to get some cash (try not to fight in the wildy). It is definetely the fastest way but usually doesn't reak in with cash. Use cow hides at the tanner and he will tan them into leather. You will be able to sell the cow hides, leather or sell the things you make out of leather. Another way is getting your tree cutting to a high level and start to sell willows on up in bundles of 100's. This is a fast way to earn cash for a F2P account. Another way is Thieving. You can usually get a decent amount of gold pieces out of higher level of thieving. You can aso steal from stalls and sell those items to players but this usually takes a while and is best used with someone else helping you, which will speed up the process but you will have to split the profits. A very common way of earning money is by mining ores, making metal bars, or objects you make out of bars, and selling them. It's quite simple, the more valuable the ores, bars, or items, the higher the price, but the longer to mine or make. Another interesting way that I came upon a couple months ago was asking for employment for other players. You usually get a good price on helping them with a quest or helping them find a certain item or place. Fishing is a great and easy way to make money. This is simple just like mining and smithing, the more the fish heals, the higher the price of the fish, but also remember that they will also become harder to catch. Fletching is a great way to earn money because you can make arrows that every archer will want and same with bows. The better the bow or arrow, the higher the price. A quick and easy way to make some money is by selling bowstring by spinning flax. The best place I found to do this is in seer's village. This is obviously only a members technique, but is a very affective one. This may be the easiest way to produce money. One other way is by collecting items that are precious to other players such as the Abyssal Whip. You can get over 1million gp on just one Abyssal Whip. But that isn't the only item that is popular among the rich. I'm sure I didn't list all of them but there are plenty of different ways to gain money in Runescape. These are just the most commonly used ways of making money. Keep searching for newer and different items to sell at a reasonable price. 5.) PKing (Player Killing) Player killing is a glorious thing. It shows the strength and weaknesses in everyone one who fights. Pking takes place in the wilderness and can sometimes be very risky. Here's one thing to remember and that is NEVER USE YOUR BEST ARMOR! 5A.) Strategies in PKing Cheap Shots: These are probably the most annoying strategies around and are cheap, hense the term cheap shot. This is when you are in an one on one battle with someone and you or your oppenent are low on health and some random person comes out of no where and automatically starts attacking the person who has lower health. The person who is being attacked may think that the cheap shot person is on the person's, who he\she was fighting, team. cock Roach: This is when you are fairly far out in the wilderness and you see a player who is 10 lvls lower than you, and you attack them. What you don't know is that that person has several other people who are 10 lvls higher than you under them and they all come out and start attacking you. In these situations I hope you can run like no tomorrow, otherwise you probably lost everything you had or were wearing. There is only one way to win against these and that is by haveing a clan along side you. Clans: One other way people kill each other in the "wildy" is haveing a clan. This is by far the most affective way of killing someone fast. In these cases the only way to win is also having a clan with you. This ends up the Runescape2 Guide by Stormball15 who has put forth his time in order to make your lives in Runescape easier and more fun. Remember it is much more fun to play with friends online. P.S. Never tell anyone your password. Peace out. |
