firefox add-ons

I use this browser called mozilla firefox, one of the things i really like about it that u can customize it the way u want with various add-ons & themes

anyway ive been adding lots recently & just trying to perfect it for optimised browsing & stuff, like recently, i have added 'nuke anything enhanced' an add-on which can be used to remove anything from the webpage by just right-clicking & remove. very useful for me for printing certain parts & even better coz i absolutely hate ads!

so i was wondering, wat add-ons do any of u guys use, let me no of the really useful ones

i use.. none ^_^ firefox doesn't let me access special websites. ( no not nudity ). i'm a graphic designer student and i need the internet explorer for background purposes. i've tried firefox, but it just shows the backgrounds as a blank white page. That really hurts my grade for GD.

oh well thats cool lol wat do u mean the backgrounds are white? no backgrounds work? cuz they do on mine.

And Ladii Mystic, I have an ace add-on i have used for ages, which will solve all your problems! Its in my list- the IE Tab add-on opens an internet explorer in firefox so u dont need to keep switching if u view "certain" sites (i wont tell anyone :wink: )

it's the basics:

1. if you use Internet Explorer, make sure you download a pop-up, adware blocker.

2. If you play a lot of online games that are 3d, or mock 3d, you should run your Disk Cleanup every 14 days ( 2 weeks ), after running disk cleanup, run Disk defragmenter, and a spyware program.

BECAUSE... online games and websites of anykind contain spyware, adware and of course Temporary Downloads. To remove TDs you have to use your Disk Cleanup. (make sure you click on Temporary Files). afterwards, run your disk defragmenter because of all the games and websites you play, files in your CPU and memory disk gets "fragmented", run that. ( make sure you have at least 15% of free space, or else it wont' work, makes the computer worse ). Lastly running spyware programs allow you to get rid of access virus, spyware, adware.

*** for the Disk Defragmentor, it's best if you have GREEN, BLUE and WHITE. Red is BAD! you can check for your status by clicking "Analyze", then click "Defragment" if you see tons of red.

the most recommended FREE adware, spyware, virus remover is

Spyware Terminator! i use it myself! it allows you to choose deep file scanning if you are afraid other files are infected too. There is a section that tells you what new viruses you should look out for. the best thing, it's FREE! but of course you want more benefits, buy the Pro version.

so yea you may get a few adwares here and there, but they are mainly orange colored ( red being max threat ) my computer runs quick and saves a lot of money if you wonder why your computer is really slow.

for Disk Defragmentor and Cleanup, go to startup, then all programs, then System Tools, and there should be the both of them listed.

ok cool i knew the defrag thing but i have never run disk clean up-i always right click on ie and hit delete cookies and files

that works too, but in my view, it's a lot easier with Disk Cleanup, it removes up to 10/8 stored files ( memory ) at once. might take up to 5 minutes ( depending on your Memory )
