Official Item contribution announcement

Hey guys,

So, I was working on the Blog tables, and it indeed does work.

Here's the basic plan I have:

We will only host everything F2P for NOW.
P2P can be later.

While the search bar is still being a little... donkey... I'm still working on it.

We can have like for example:

www.runescapeaddicts.com/rune platebody
^ that is a page for rune platebody by itself

OR

we can save time and space and reduce lag by

www.runescapeaddicts.com/item-db/r
^ that will list all the items under the first letter of "R" available for f2p under one page.

While we decide, anyone can contribute. For now:

JUST LIST THE F2P ITEMS.
we will get the information later.

So if it lists all the items, will each item still have its own page? I think they should have their own page because most sites are like that and most people may perfer to see it like that?

Well that's the thing...

I'm not sure how we would want it to be?

We can have it on each page or it can be all items that start with "R" on one page.

I think we can manage with an object on each page... can we?

I think it would be better if we listed each item on a different page, it would be much more clear

OR

If there is a group of items, for example, runes, logs or combat robes set, we could list them on the same page. So, it would have all the combat robe items (hood, top, bottom) or all the runes on 1 page. This would make it easier to compare prices and stuff.

obviously we would add more info and take out the unnecessary info but I think something like that would work. I mean, you would add item info (high alch, where you can get it etc and take out the change in price etc)

I think the items on induvidual pages would be fine.

When it come to the member items though, thats what Im afriad of. Theres SOOOO many items in p2p.

We arent puttting quest items in i hope...
