and to answer your ?, there are programs out there that would allow us to set up a full forum without writing one line of code. that's really not an issue so much as adding features after the fact.

as far as purchasing the domain, i am perfectly willing to drop $50 bucks for a community like you.

well freeforums has alot of permissions that you can set PER FORUM. eg. the RSAC forums could not even be seen. I reccomend begin at freeforums, and buy/move to another advanced forum.
