I've been thinking about this for a while. Why? Why do we keep clinging to this place? Marc does nothing for us. Nothing here is exciting, or unique. Things everywhere are in desperate need of repair. The userbase is small at best.

and then it hit me. It's not the site. it's the people in it. They're the good part. they're stuck behind the bars of this forum, just begging to get out. it's time to free them. to move on, outwards, upwards.

it's time to go.

I will follow LM wherever she goes, and the rest of you. I hope you feel the same.

This isn't RSA anymore. that ship has sailed. this is the charred remains. it's time to dust off, dig through the rubble, salvage what we can, and move on.

what's the point in putting all this work in here, fixing up this site the best we could with the toothpicks-of-tools that marc gave us, when he doesn't give us respect for it.

why work for him when we can work for ourselves?

i have lots of respect for you, i dunno what you're saying.

and to answer your ?, there are programs out there that would allow us to set up a full forum without writing one line of code. that's really not an issue so much as adding features after the fact.

as far as purchasing the domain, i am perfectly willing to drop $50 bucks for a community like you.

there really isn't much stopping us now....

1. Use freeforums.org, which runs on phpbb3 now, which gives you alot of options.

2. Use forumer.com which currently uses phpbb2&3.

3. ipbfree.com which uses invision power board (ipb lol)

Payed Forums

1. vBulletin
