First, oak planks.
To start off you need about 20k, buy some oaks from exchange or cut them yourself. go to the sawmill and get oak planks. sell at exchange and you get around 200 gp profit per plank.
oak log:20gp
make into plank:250,200(i forgot which)
sell for 450=200gp profit.
If you dont have enough money for that then get about 3k or so and go to adrounge. Buy chocolate(it was 20gp last time I checked). Use a knife on the chocolate to make chocolate dust unless you just want to sell as bar.
Sell dust/bar at exchange and get about 100gp profit each bar.

pick flax at seers village, sell them for 80/90 ea

for beginning members, you've probably already heard alot about how fletching makes you money and you're probly hoping to get 70 soon and you're starting on what you think "useless" shafts. Wrong. Shafts aren't useless, each log makes 15 and and they're worth up to 10ea and people buy in bulk of sometimes even over 40K. I did this for a week for 7 hours a day and got 3M. A good spot to get the logs is south of seer's village bank near the firemaking tutor.

Also, now that the wilderness is gone, it's gonna be alot easier to make runes using the abyss, so make nats until you can make laws and then make laws until you can make deaths.

And, train slayer until you have 52 and then kill Jellies because they are the lowest level monsters that drop level 3 clue scrolls. And a level 3 clue scroll can get you third age, robin hood hat, and more.

Also, for beginner players, flax is very good money. Just pick it south of seer's bank and then bank it at seer's bank. If you want craftin xp too, you can spin them into bow strings in the building west of the flax just above the spot of yews. You'll need to go upstairs in that building and then you'll see the spinning thing. Then bank those because they sell for more than the flax.

And there are good fishing spots in catherby where you can fish lobs and it's close to a bank and a place to cook them. It's alot more convenient than fishing in karamja.

the thing about chocolate is the best trick ever. i did have a little trouble selling the dust though it took a few hours to sell.

You could do what i do, if u have the cash. You need to have beat dwarf cannon and have the smithing level required to make cannonballs. First, buy coal and iron ore from the grand exchange (remember the more you buy, the more money u make and always buy twice the amount of coal a you bought iron). Then (make sure u have an ammo mould from the quest), go to Al Kharid (either use duelling ring or glory tele) and go to the furnace there. Smith all of the cannonballs, then sell back to Grand Exchange. Even if u buy the coal and iron at max price, and sell the cannonballs at minimum price, u'll still make profit. Only good if u have a lot of money. Also good for smithing experience.
