I first tackled the hill giants at level 60-ish, and wouldn't need food for long amounts of time.

So if you plan to bring food, I would say get to about level 40 just to be safe, but it isn't a particularly dangerous area.

For non-members im going to give you list of money making method's:
Cutting Yews
You need 60 wood cutting.
And go and cut the yews in rimmington because there are 4 tree's in one little batch.And just teleport back to Faldor.


Mining Runite
You need 85 mining.
I use this method.Just mine the 2 rocks in the top of the wilderness.Once mined 2 runite ore's.Don't wait for another two to come back because you could be waiting 30 minutes.So switch worlds intill you find 2 runite rocks, and mine intill you have about 20 runite ores.I only recomened 20 because you can hold another 8 cooked lobsters incase you get attacked, and you should where green dragon hide.

Mining Gold
Right you need 40 mining for this.Go to Karjama and go into the volcano.Once in mine the gold ore's.Wait intill they resawn then mine intill your full then go back to draynor or faldor.Or you could mine in the crafting guild but you need a brown apron and 40 crafting to get into the guild.

Merchanting Air Runes
Right go to the Grand Exchange and buy air runes for the middle price(Note:Only use half or a quarter of your money just incase it doesnt work anymore).And then sell back for top price.This may take a while to sell but they should sell eventually.

And thats just some ways to make money as a non-member.
Note:Runtie is the best on this list you can make up to 200k-400k a hour for a non-member!.

right money making stuff for non mebes eather fish lobsters if got the right lvl (don't cook them thay sell faster and no one whats to buy cooked)

Mine and smelt bars, steel bars are good selling but higer lvls mean more money.

Or just mine coal but dont sell more then 500 coal u be wating for a long time for them to sell on the G.E.

Cut down tree's yew tree are grate to be selling but u need lvl 60+ woodcutting to cut them down and it takes a long time as the only thing u got in non is willow trees that are the next lowest thing at 40+ wc.

colect bones but don't bury them normal bones on a full bag can get you upto 2k for 1 bag also a good starter for new people.

or do the jobs in the lummy depening what job you do and how fast u do it in can all depened on how much you get range between 15gp to 50gp if done fast and i mean fast!

Mining is the fastest way to get monsy F2P imo. you can mine in the dwarven mines and bank it all at the "new bank" and get about 1k addy ore or coal ore and sell both for 1,006,000 gold for addy and 172,000 gold, and that's selling on the GE.

also you can try fishing. Raw Lobsters 316,000 gold per 1k or 275k cooked, but go raw, more people buy raw trying to get their cooking maxed.

also you can do wc. yews and willows are also a great source of money. BUT if your just trying to get money, I would get your skills high enough, like say fishing to 76 so you can fish sharks and then become a member for a month and just fish sharks that whole month (yes boring we all know) but I am 81 fishing and I can fish about 10.5k sharks in 7 days, multiply that by 4 which is 42k sharks and multiply that by 996, current shark price ea. and you get
41,832,000 gold, and thats selling it on the GE. So thats my advice to you, hope you get what you were looking for.

I make money by mining 1k coal and then 500 iron(i usually get the iron from the G.E. but if you want to make a bigger profit i recomend mining it) and then smelt the iron and 2 pieces of coal into a steel bar. you get around 600gp per bar if you sell it at the G.E. (where would i be without the G.E.)
