1. Armor Trimming
As everyone knows, trimmed and gold armor are very much sought after armor. BUT! You must remember, ARMOR CANT BE TRIMMED. Scammers who do this should be reported for item scamming. NEVER GIVE IT TO THEM.

2. Membership
People sometimes offer "Free Membership". NEVER GIVE THEM YOUR PASSWORD. Report them for account scamming.

3. Trust Game
People will say "FREE 100k" or "FREE (Insert Rare Item Here) If they ever say "We must play a game/trust game", report them for item sharing as well.

4. Finally, If something seems fishey, ask a high lvl for advise, or ask here. Although some people try to scam, others will help.. Have fun.

Well, I'd like to point out that you put some effort into a guide that doesn't really matter anymore.

The armour trimming scam won't work because the person wanting to 'trim' it would have to pay the intended victim for it, therefore not scamming them! Unless of course your refering to steel armour or below...

The second one, its actually not possible to give away your password in-game anymore. Remember when people used to say, "Look Jagex blocks your pass: *******," well that no longer happens because if you try entering it, a message comes up saying your not allowed to say your password. So you can only get account scammed if your stupid enough to say your password either backwards, or entering 1 letter on each line.

Trust trades will not work for the same reason armour trimming doesn't.

The only people that can still technically get scammed are the really low level new players to whom 3k is considered a large amount of money. But since the amount is so small hardly anyone will bother.

Yea, but for n00bs, most mith items (not pl8) fall under 3k, even some addy. So it can be bad for n00bs. And believe me, people will say their pass- p-a-s-s-w-o-r-d So it can help, but whatever lol

Well, not sure how I agree with it. I don't see Bots much anymore. Also, because of the 3k limit, or more dependable on the amount of Quest Points you have, you can't really scam anymore.

you can delete this thread now cuz its pointless BUT there are other scams that arent in game. incomplete guide. you can still get scammed but not while playing the game
