why woodcutting?

I dont get why everyone goes and woodcuts, what about smithing and other skills?

its because wc is the easiers skill to level, and it gets lots of cash =)

I beg to differ. WC is easy to train enough to start making money quickly. In the long run, it does not give as much money or as fast compared to other skills. I have 99 WC and I make money faster mining runite ore on f2p with dwarvern stouts (84 mining). Keep in mind that there are only two rune ores per world with many rune miners world hopping to get to them first.

Now, with the wildy update... Revenants make it even harder for rune miners seeing how they hit up to 30, freeze, and teleblock; nevertheless I still make more money mining runite in f2p (and dieing once in awhile) then wcing.

nah I'm joking, yes melt is in fact correct.

yet wc is a good skill like the other ones.....they should make flax picking or sumthing......hmmm...

but anyway I'm going for 99 wc and fletch but not for profit but bragging rights =)
