who is a "newbie" and wants some old merchant tips

merchanting,the skill that actually does not need any skills just the skill to merchant :D i used to be a merchant but not anymore.Not everybodie likes merchants but it is a good way to make some cash without raising skill levels.The main thing is simple,buy low sell high. always when doing a trade be nice but stick into the topic.And dont show that your despreat just show them that you will walk away if the buyer doesn't preffer the price of the valied item.Here was some basic tips but feel free to ask some questions and prices of items.But my prices can't always be right just correct me if there is any corecting :D Well happy merchanting!

There is different kinds of merchanting ways forexample the ordinary way which is the "buy low and sell high" way.Also there is the way where you have to work a little but still gives you a proffit, for example: logs sell 10 coins each but tou can buy them 10 coins each and fletch them into arrow shafts which sell 10 each also but you get 15 shafts from one log.The other popular way of"work merchanting" that you buy coal like 160 each amd iron ores 100 each and then smelt into bars and sell them 500-600 each and now that is something like a proffit! This is also another way of "work merchanting"when you buy steel bars 500-600 each them make into 4 cannon balls and sell them 200 each and that gives a proffit of 300-200 coins. Well there were some basic merchanting ways but ask for more! happy merchanting! :D

I have used the steel bar method but in a way that gets more profit, here is how I do it:

Go to a world with 14000-1700 people in it. Go inside the east falador bank. Buy iron for 35ea-50ea. Offer more if the person has alot of iron. Buy coal for 100-150ea. You can buy coal for 150ea very fast but for a higher profit buy for 100ea. Smelt them into steel bars and sell for 500-600ea. Buying for lower prices takes longer but you make more profit.

Another method i use is buying iron for 35ea-50ea and selling them for 100ea. When dealing with ores always buy and sell in falador.

Once you get about 25k you can do this:
Go to varrok, buy rune skimmys for 20k-25k and sell for 30k.

Once you get 165k you can do this:
Buy rune plate for 50k, rune full helm for 35k, rune kite for 40k, and rune legs for 40k. Then sell for 200k as "Full Rune". Thats 35k profit. If that takes too long for you try this, buy full rune for 180k and sell for 200k.

Once you get 300k-350k try this:
Buy Sara helmet for 300k-350k and sell for 400k.

Nice,hey but i also did that same thing that i buy rune plate 50k and so on but i would suggest to buy the rune full helmet for 25k and then you can buy the rune kite shield 50k or the rune legs for 50k or the plate bodie for 60k.Also you can split the extra 10k from the rune full helmet with the items you pick of the "rune full set" here is a few options below:
-Buy the legs and shield(rune)for 45k.
-Buy the shield and plate bodie(rune),45k for the shield and 55k for the plate bodie
-Buy Legs and plate bodie(rune),45k legs and 55k plate bodie

The were some options but feel free to do it as you want but you can always try to buy the rune full helmet for 25k and the other parts with the same prices as looney did that would be a 45k proffit.It would take a little longer but as the saying goes,longer it takes the more is the proffit !

That method is more profit, but i suggest buying full rune for 180k and selling for 200k in f2p and in some cases sell for 220k in members worlds. I also forgot to tell everyone that when you are buying or selling you have to make it colorful and make it move. Also at the end of the sentence put your name so ppl know who you are, example:

Purple:wave:buying full rune 180k - your name

hi and srry IB, havnt been on this threat for a while.
so the yew's price has gone way down to 200. some people still buy it 250-300 ea. Usualy the noobs who have been macroing at varrock world 1 sell the yews 200 ea. where is about 6k-10k of them.But they might be scamming so check the trade screen before trading :D

Members pay a fortune for yews, so it's kinda easy to merchant ^^
