the first paragraph is lvl3 and the second paragaph is lvl41 and i lost my stuff then went in a battle with him. i hate the triming scam

Yes, highwayman can be annoying. A very long time ago, i was lvl 3 and i almost got killed by a highwayman...i didn't know i can run back then. :oops: Then somebody next to me scream to me "Run!" Then i ran away....phew....

Now that i thought back...it was kind of funny.

Anyway, yeah i feel bad for you. You got scammed by that trimming scam? How? Tell us. :wink:

i had a huge argument with 3 people about trimming. one guy said you can make heraldic shields as well. (h) he said its on runehq and u need crab claws and a chisel. the other 2 were just talking about trimming. while i was arguing with them, they 'trimmed' quite a few peoples armour.

All trimmed (t) armours and heraldic (h) stuff can ONLY be obtained from treasure trails.

I went on RuneHQ and used the search feature to find anything about using the crab claws & chisel- nothing came up. (if anybody else can find it please post the link!)

The people you had an argument with were most likely scammers. Unless they were talking about the other kind of heraldic stuff, members can turn thier rune or steel kiteshields & full helmets into "heraldic" items (they should have called them something else) by painting them a certain design. However, these are members only & cannot be traded or the paint cannot be removed. I wouldn't recommend doing this to a rune kite as you can never sell (unless you want to keep it forever) but do it to a steel kite for looks...

yes my friend who i set up on runescape did stuff like that too frequently. i think the paint on rune kites looks cool, but yes it would be ahuge hassal not being able to get rid of it without alching it. i have heard the crab claws thery so many times if i saw a video of my life i couldnt count them all.
