There are quite a few places you can train it F2P but it's not the best exp, and it is very slow. Just because there are no gilded altars, or ecto(forgot the rest). What may I ask is your prayer level and combat level? Well no matter I'll say the best spots, spots I think are good.

1.Chaos altar in wildy.
  • Start out in Varrock center.
  • Go east towards the bank, follow the road.
  • Go north once you are at the intersection, again follow the road to the wilderness ditch.
  • Once out the ditch, go northeast I believe. And you will find an altar full of bones.
Here are a whole bunch of regular bones ripe for the taking.

2.Graveyard of bones in the wilderness.
All I know about this is it's somewhere in the pretty deep wild. With a few
big bone respawns which are much better than regular bones. And plenty of bones are there too. But there are a few skeletons which make it harder for lower levels, and the ever present revenants.

3.Hill giants
Everyone knows where this is. Only one thing bad here is it's packed. Like really, really packed. They drop big bones.

Wink

some helpfull advice it to get 10 dollars and go to the nearest 7-11 or targetbwere they sell the runescape cards to buy membership with once you do kill green dragons or get big bones (about 500 at most) that should get u a lot of levels even if its high.
go to the house party world and ask for a guilded alter once u find some one who has it add them to friends list or write it down (for future use) once you do that get a tele to the nearest town to there and walk to the portal from the bank with a inventory of (D or B)bones. WALA thers ur prayer help =]

I would suggest...

1. Go to the shack near the barbarian village (you will need a key that can be bought from the GE) go down the ladder in the shack and you will meet hill giants, which are good for training prayer.

2. Go to around level 12-14 wilderness, heading north northeast from the varrock area. You will come across an alter in a ruined temple on a small peninsula surrounded by lava. Here you will find about 10 bones that respawn. By the time you get all of them they will have begun to respawn, so it is a great place to train prayer, as long as you are prepared for revenants. (Bring food and wear no more than 3 items, preferably things that provide magic defense.)

3. Personally, if i fight monsters nonstop, I get the pop quiz random alot. Simply use the book of knowledge on prayer.

4. Buy loads of big bones from the grand exchange, but that costs more than its worth.

5. Always train on monsters with bones, preferably in an area that spawns bones, like at the back of the room with the hill giants, and near the first walking skeletons you see down the tunnel near the hill giants.

That's about all I can think of, there's really nothing to it once you find a good place. To tell you the truth, you needn't go out of your way to train prayer, because if you train solely on monsters with bones, and bury every defeated enemy, then you should level up prayer at least once every combat level or two.

Hope that helped in some way.

Prayer is practically a rich man's skill. You either get it much quicker by buying all the bones, or suffer and have to collect every single one.

Good luck. Don't forget to do restless ghost quest. First free 10 prayer levels.

Smile

Yeah, but you can go to goblin village and kill goblins-they're really easy to kill, and drop bones to bury. Or you can go to the cows in lumbridge, as people are always killing them and leaving behind bones.

Since the boneyard is gone, your choices are now chaos altar and maybe the zombie place near clan wars. Free bone spawns.

Buying bones is still best idea though.

Kill stuff to get bones? I didn't say it won't work I just said you WILL suffer. Especially since you're f2p.
