money making for lower levels

Heres a simple tip i have found that can make you some quick cash (works in both freeplay & members)


Basics:

1. you only need about 3k or less to start off
2. go to betty's magic shop in port sarim
3. buy as many eye of newt as you can
4. search the official runescape forums for buyers
5. arrange to meet somewhere & sell

Notes:

-eye of newt is needed by members for levelling herblore, but their too lazy to stand in a shop and click 'buy 10' at a time

-eye of newt are not stackable so you can only buy 27 at a time, bank at faladors eastern bank, sell noted

-when searching for buyers go here: http://forum.runescape.com/lang/en/a...archthreads.ws and type: 'buying eye of newt', this will find posts by people who are buying it

-to contact the buyer, the forum name is always the runescape username so just add them (or reply to the post if your a member)

-there are always buyers, prices vary but its roughly 200gp each they buy for, and you only buy for 3gp each so profits are made quick (e.g. if you buy 1k of newt eyes for 3k & sell for 200k thats 197k profit!)

-no need to worry about scammers too, most people who buy are very high levels and dont mess around

-if your freeplay mention that to the buyer so they have to come to your world

-also not too many know of this tip so unlike chaos, deaths or other runes in the shops, stocks of eye of newt are always high (in freeplay the only use is for witch's potion quest) this means less competition, easier to buy & sell
