I always see high levels high alching. When I ask what they are alching they say "yew longs" and that they make profit. I asked a bunch of people and they said the same thing. How can you make profit? High alch for yew longs are 750gp. Yews are worth 400, bow strings are 180, and nats are 250. Altogether you already spent 830 gp, so how do you mmake profit by alching it for 750? :cry1:

The point is doing it all by yourself.


If you have enough level to cut yews, then do it.

You cut 400 off it.


And the same with nats and runecrafting.


And with strings.


The less you buy and the more ou make for yourself, the more you profit.

Thats true, but wouldnt you make more profit if you sold the yews, b strings and natz to the ge than if you alch it?

But you wouldn't get the xp.



Runes are expensive, so training mage while getting money is like a miracle.


High alch is probably one of the easiest way to get great xp in mage.


If you find a way to profit with it, that's infinite mage xp.

Intead of cutting the logs, it'd be much more smarter to just spin the flax into bowstring. That by itself reduces 80gp from the money spend on the supplies. And another thing you could do is find a cheap permanent seller of any of the supplies, or bows. You can make profit by either making your nats, or spinning your own string, those would be the smartest ways to make profit hi alching them.
P.S. There aren't any "high levels" in the game a lot of those guys if your member is all summoning. ;)
