in runescape they try to make you be a member because all of the updates and stuff are 4 the members. i know since other people dont pay they dont get all the luxuries but they could have updates 4 non-members here and there.

thats very true. But in all honesty if they did too much of that then less people would want to become members so they get less money....

well, there was the update involving security- barbarian village dungeon. This was for both F2P & P2P(obviously) and had cash rewards aswell as some fancy new boots.

In a way they managed to kill 2 birds with 1 stone by that, because the update meant there was something new for free players that was actually worthwhile even for higher levels. It also lead to new training spots and gives more info on account security to prevent hackers, scammers etc.

that is true but all i want is 4 them to have atleast 4 or 5 updates a year 4 non-members 4 atleast a few years.

i think the Stronghold update was the BEST non-member update there is so far... really! i made a lot of money and items.. mostly black armour, and steel and mith and addy... you can guess why... i saw a lot of people die there.. it's a sad thing really.. and the anoku's! the lvl 90 greaters in wildy hit me less than they hit me! it's annoying really

I think they should have only 4 updates a year for f2p too. That is not too much updates, and it keeps f2p memebrs happy. But, they shouldnt do too much because there wouldnt be a point of getting member... BTW this is my first post and im the 50th member!! :D

I think the membership is a cool idea etc., but it's kinda pricey... 5 $ a month, 60$ a year. If u are 5 years long a member to runescape, u gave them 300$!!! I can go on a holiday with that money. I play RS since 2000 and I can assure you there has changed alot since then. RS2 came up, updates,... Don't worry and be patient, you'll appreciate more what they do for you that way.

I think that Jagex should give f2p people a couple more updates. I mean not jus the visual stuff, things in the game. Of course they also have to make money so they still have to mantain an incentive for becoming a member.
