Hello, recently I went and interviewed random people about their views about the wild update. I wasn't surprised about these, I got the exact reaction about what they would do. I asked them lots of questions, trying to put pressure on them (I know, I'm mean) to squeeze the truth out of them. I currently have 4 inteviews, but I will post more if people like them. Oh well, here you go my friend:

#1, a Quick, Short Interview

I met up with this guy in the wild, and here is what he had to say:

Me - So did you like the wilderness?

Anonymous - Yes

Me - Do you feel that it should be brought back?

Anonymous - Yes

Me - Any reasons why?

Anonymous - Not really but to kill players and get items

Sorry about the shortness about the above one, I just ran out of questions, and testing my limits. The next ones are much longer.

My adventure continues, and this one is much more interesting. :what:

This guy I met bye the bar near the wild in varrok. He was a level 39.


Me: did you like the wilderness?

Anonymous: Yes

Me: do you want to bring it back?

Anonymous: yes

Me: Any reasons why?

Anonymous: So I can owned peeps

Me: But you can do that in bounty hunter, what’s the difference?

Anonymous: I like owning peeps here so I can jump back over if I die

Me: But you can head back through the portals in bounty hunter (by this I meant cave walls), That Helps you escape

Him: Wanna join my clan?

Me: No, but could you answer the question please?

Anonymous: Well in bounty hunter you can run, but here you have to do this (he demonstrates going across the trench and
then jumping back over), If I get attack almost die, I can do this (demonstrates again)

Me: You can do that in bounty hunter, if you stay near the walls

Anonymous: but you get attacked all the way, But here you don’t

Me: But there are holes in bounty hunter, which send you back

(he either didn’t know what to say or was getting irritated by this point because he ran for it, but I caught up with him)

Anonymous: ehhhhhhhhhhhh what now?

Me: Have you ever been to bounty hunter?

Anonymous: Yes

Me: That’s all, bye

This one was odd. I interviewed a rioter, and he didn’t know why he hated bounty hunter. He was level 54. I met him in varrok square in the middle of leading a riot session, and he agreed to do the interview. Some of the beginning of the interview was lost, but I think I got it pretty accurate.

Me: did you like the wild?

Anonymous: ya

Me: Why?

Anonymous: You get good drops and stuff

Me: you can do that in bh

Anonymous: It’s easier in the wild

Me: but in bh they assign a person to you

Anonymous: But there are too many noobs there

Me: but wouldn’t noobs be good? You can kill them easier.

Anonymous: Bounty hunter isn’t as much fun for me

Me: Why?

Anonymous: I have no clue accualy. Are you going to join the riot?

Me: What is you goal by rioting. I may later.

Anonymous: To reserect pking and the black parade at the same time. Is this going to be on you tube?

Me: No

Anonymous: Awwww,Oh well

Me: who is the black parade, or rather what is?

Anonymous: Listen to my chemical romance and you’ll find out, it’s kinda hard to explain

Me: But what is the black parade in relation to runescape

*long pause*

Anonymous: nothing, they’re just my 2 favorite things and I combined them

Me: that’s all, thanks

#4, My Last........ for Now

This one was a little bit funny, and it made me kind of disgruntled. The person was a level 70. See for yourself (please don't make fun of him, my goal isn't to embarass him):

Me: Did you like the wild?

Anonymous: Yea

Me: what did you like about it?

Anonymous: It lets you learn about the animals

Me: I am talking about runescape wild

Anonymous: Not really, it is a bad place to be

Me: why?

Anonymous: Because it’s filled with revs

Me: I am talking about the wild before it was changed

Anonyomous: The if they died or you died you could keep their stuff, Yes, Stuff

Me: but you can do that in bounty hunter? What’s the difference?

Anonymous: yes but bounty is much too dangerous

Me: But they are pretty much the same

Anonymous: yea

Me: so why don’t you like bounty hunter?

Anonymous: It was filled with skilled who have trained for years

Me: But so was the wild

Anonymous: Yea, So the wild is dangerous to

Me: yes, it is

Anonymous: Yep

Me: So anyway, do you support rioters?

Anonymous: Yes? What?

Me: Nevermind, Do you want the wild back?

Anonymous: yes, it would change runescape forever

Me: I am finished. You can go



Well, it's over. I wanted you to draw your own conclusions, so I will give you my conclusion here, at the end. My conlusion was that most of those people up there had no valid reason for hating the wild update and bounty hunter. They were either
A. Change Haters
B. Too easily influinced by by other people
C. Were bored so they wanted to pin their problems on Jagex.

thank you so much for posting this. it was very interesting.

i might try interviewing ppl. i wouldnt mind getting interviewed though.

but i think the main reason ppl dont like bounty hunter is because it is crowded, since there are only 3 f2p bh worlds and 3 p2p bh world (6 in total). but when you were able to pk in the wilderness, you can pk in any world, so it wasnt always so crowded.
