Interviews: Part 2


Interview #1

I really tried to do the full length
interview. This one was about 7 minutes long,
and I asked a ton more questions + I filmed it. This guy was level 87. Read on.


Me: Question #1: How do you feel now that the wild is gone, well, player-killing rather

Anonymous: It blows, now I can’t make quick cash like I used to, I quit my pure to =(

Me: But can’t you use bounty hunter, isn’t it practically the same?

Anonymous: Yes but I can’t pk with my friends it’s just 1 on 1

Me: I see, Question 2, How do you feel about the trade limit?

Anonymous: Bad because I used to have cash from my friends, Like at least 5mil from a friend, In a week

Me: But, Andrew, the creator of Runescape said, "Runescape will die if we bring the wild and trade back." He didn’t exactly say that, but something close, How do you respond to that?

Anonymous: Why he say that for Runescape died without it

Me: because the gold farmers and Autoers would take over practically, ect.

Anonymous: Hmmmm, Well I don't know I wasn’t a skiller, I didn’t care about woodcutting or fishing, just combat skills

Me: Well the auto market affects everything, but whatever

Anonymous: Yes

Me: Next question

Anonymous: Now that there gone, yew has gone up

Me: True True, New Question: How do you feel about the new graphics?

Anonymous: Good

Me: Why?

Anonymous: But don’t really bother me, cause everyone says that, Runescape has bad graphics

Me: Oh, I see

Anonymous: But I don’t mind the graphics

Me: Do you think that the graphics will bring new players in, and generate new members?

Anonymous: Yes because one of my friends said, "Runescape blows because the graphics are horrible."

Me: Ok, ummmmmmmm, any shout outs or anything?

Anonymous: Nope just hope Andrew bring wild back

Interview #2

This one was like 12 minutes. I met him when he was in Varrok square shouting, "Bounty Hunter is Pking!" Obviously using an AutoTyper because he was saying other stuff really quickly. He was level 39, but various hints in the interview led me to believe he had a higher level main.

Me: Let’s get to it, Question 1, did you like the wild, by that I mean “old pking”

Anonymous: Of course, Obviously not this account

Me: Any reasons why?

Anonymous: Well yeah, better money, more fun, more respect

Me: In your opinion is bounty hunter or the wild more fun?

Anonymous: Old wild style, Definitely, The new bounty hunter, Has potential, For huge loot, Just has a few issues nobody like

Me: ok, so would you consider yourself an anti-protester?

Anonymous: Hmm, Yeah

Me: Ok

Anonymous: Because they know it won’t make a diference, and so does everyone

Me: Yeah, Protesting is a waste of time

Anonymous: It really is, And I’d much rather Have Jagex focused on the issues that matter, Rather Than be focused on the opinions of a few frustrated 9 year olds

Me: are you excited about the new graphics?

Anonymous: Yeah kinda

Me: Do you think that the new graphics will make people play runescape and increase the amount becoming members??

Anonymous: Hmm, Yeah, I suppose, Well maybe not members, But I guess popularity will increase Am I right in thinking that the new graphics will affect everyone?

Me: Yeah it will affect everyone

Anonymous: Runescape is known for bad graphics lol, so it if has good ones, maybe more people will be inclined to play, something like that we hope

Me: Yeah, Runescape needs to regain the people it’s lost

Anonymous: Well some people they’ll never get back

Me: What are your opinions on the 3k cap?

Anonymous: Ohh I hate that, although it’s 30k on my main

Me: Any reasons why?

Anonymous: Well yeah, You can’t help a friend out anymore, give gifts, show trust, or do anything trade-wise really

Me: But don’t you think it’s good that Scammers have pretty much been stopped, and gold farmers are poo now?

Anonymous: Well I think that’s down right stupidity if you get scammed, and gold farmers were fun to kill =)

Me: Yeah lol

Anonymous: but I’ve noticed there are no more bots

Me: Yeah, me to

Anonymous: Flax fields are empty these days

Me: Umm, how about new PvP games

Anonymous: Like clan wars?

Me: Well

Anonymous: Well I’m pretty excited about staked wars

Me: like the ones Jagex said they would make

Anonymous: Ohh, well they kinda ruined the anticipation with fist of guthix

Me: Do you think there will be tons more?

Anonymous: I hope there will me more, because the more there are, the more likely one will be good

Well That's it. There was some chit chat at the end of that one that I took out, mostly because that interview was bigger than most. I hope you liked it better this time. I am open to all suggestions

Try making it more organized.

You still made a few erros. But way better then the first. There just a couple of things you need to work on.

First is that try to keep your questions all in one statment. And add color. So you could be red, and the interviewer could be blue. Makes it clearer to red. For example:

Hawt Zombie: How do you feel, anout the 3k trade limit? Hows does it effect you, and you friends? Any ideas how it could return?
Noob: Bla bla bla.
Hawt Zombie: So how do you feel about bounty hunter? How is it different for the old style pking? How much pking you do now?
Noob: Bounty hunter is stuiped. bla bla bla.
Note: feel free to ask question why he feels that why.
Hawt Zombie: Why do you think bounty hunter is stuiped?

It clears the interview up.


And make sure to fix any spelling error. And don't add the chit chat, take it out.

Always question when they say like "it easier to get loot", and and ask "isn't p2p suppose to be hard?" Keep it nice.

this was very interesting, i like the wild a lot..i think an easier solution to solve the real world trading/drop trading out there would be to simply not allow players to drop out there. and instead of automaticly you could only take worth so much stuff..more so of a duel arena staking everything.
not deleting it and putting in bounty hunter.
but very good post. i enjoyed reading this a lot.
