Bounty Hunter - The New Way For RWT?

Hi guys. I was browsing over rs sites (to see where RSA was) and found a startling fact. you see this real world trader was using bounty hunter to transfer money and items. you see, jagex thought they had every1 covered, and real world trading over. But it was just the beginning... people now using bounty hunter, and jagex wouldnt know about it. hmmm... post what you think.....

lol there is no way to cover up real world trade without taking away all kinds of pvp that drops the other players' stuff, most of us probably know ppl use bh to do rwt by now...

well... if your like a lvl 80, then ur most likely going to win. Turn off auto retaliate when ur vsing the right guy and... TA DA!

So okay.

You attack the RWT guy, but another guy saw you and attacks you.

You die.


You lose your real life money and the stuff you have on while BHing.


That kinda sucks doesn't it?

It is possible.


But hard.


Your target or your hunter may attack you.


You can be attacked first.


And you cannot bring items that you cannot use, or items that are not combat useful.


So a level 3 bot would die instantly and could only wear iron.


A high level can bring valuable stuffbut it's hard.

I agree with Nyk. Its very hard to RWT through bounty hunter, but it has been tried.

However, I have been thinking about a growing problem: item renting. Its not bad for the honest people, but I can go to any given member world, stand at g/e with chat on and see people offering over 100k per hr to borrow a godsword. So one way this could, in theory, be exploited is if someone who owns a godsword opens a shop where he rents his gs for real money. This is not an idea, I came up with, its something people have been mentioning on a few clan chats. It would be something like paying $10 to borrow for 24hrs or whatever.

Its a loophole in Jagex's new 'perfect', RWT-free system. In my opinion they will eventually make the item lending options much like the trade screen where the lender offers the item and the borrower selects the length of time and pays the appropriate rent- the price will be fixed just like prices are fixed at g/e now.

This will be to stop the scamming and trust trades there are now. At the moment, I could easily offer to lend out my weapon, but ask for money in advance, then after payment runaway and not give it out. (Or give it out with the logout condition and then log off a few mins later to avoid being reported).

how many people are on a german world when its three in the morning in germany? very few. 9 autos couldnts be hard to make. so u buy the gold by going to bh in german than there will be only autos for u to kill. simple and safe.

Evil bob how can they rent the item for 100k an hour? i thought max was 60k for unfair trade.

it's not that hard to rwt through bh actually, most of the rwt r done on high craters, the dealer usually have a very high lvl account with a lot of other high lvl (usually maxed out accounts) protecting the dealer and the buyer, and they'll try to wear the same clothes and stuff to look like a clan, i bet even a maxed out person with gs cant killed like 7 ppl at the same time almost as strong as he or she, unless another clan got lucky and they have more ppl and killed them, usually the rwt works, believe it or not...

In Bounty you CANNOT bring money, or items you cannot wear, And only 1 of each item.

Like you can only bring one wep, latebody, ect.

You can't RWT.


He's trying to make a big fuss.
