Which one: RSAC or GNC?

Both Cho and LM want me to be in their clan, but, by LM's rule, I can't be in both. This doesn't seem fair, as there are a few people who are ranked in both CCs. Cho, the leader of RSAC, is ranked in GNC. LM, the leader of GNC, is ranked a general in RSAC. EB, a RSA mod, is ranked in both CCs.

This isn't fair on two counts: 1) RSA mods have no effect on what happens in Runescape. They can censor you on the forums, but not in-game. 2) If they aren't in the clan, then they shouldn't have any authority over the people who are. If anything, the clan members should be the ones with the authority over the RSA mods.

It's because of this problem right here that I am deciding not to join either clan. The clans are seperated, but if the leaders have any sort of power in the other clan, then it's a conspiracy to me.

I'll most likely change them into Sergents. But they are currently Lieutenants.
Not just because they are RSA Mods.. well actually they are, and i'm Admin so i have
to give them some kind of rank.

As for whoever you choose, it's all up to you.

If you choose RSAC, GNC will not hold you anything against you.
I can't say much for RSAC but i can speak on behalf of GNC.

LM, you're being a hypocrite. You said no RSAC members allowed in GNC, yet you're giving RSA mods ranks! That's just like letting them into the clan. They shouldn't have the ability to kick clan members from the chat channel. If they have the rank, they shouldn't have the ability to send/accept clan war invitations. They shouldn't be allowed to use lootshare (if it is used). The GNC members have every right to do what the RSA mods do. They are able to censor people on this site, but they cant censor you in the game, so stop trying to allow them.

Chill right now buddy. First of all Just because they are ranked doesn't mean there in the clan. Why should RSA Mods have the abilty to kick peaple? Because if there trusted here, and keep this place clean, they can do they same for the chat. If you have a distrupted person in the chat making bad comments, and nobody in GNC could do a thing to stop him, your screwed. It's like having Jagex do a thing when someone is breaking all the rules. Chill.

Also, in both clans, they're ranked as lieutenants. With the exception of EB and Eclipse in RSAC CC, because they are both RSA mods and RSAC members.

Idk about in GNC, but in RSAC, nobody except Captains+ can kick, accept challenges, use lootshare, etc. So even in LM is a lieutenant in my clan, she doesn't have any power over my members.

And no, the RSAC will not hold anything against you either, if you join GNC. We both have a lot of that going on, we're used to it by now. At least I am.

Ok, fb, but then why not let the members have some control in the cc? If they have a rank in the cc, isn't that making them a member of the clan? I can understand Cho's view seeing as it's the only official RSA clan (as we've stated a while back, it wouldn't be an official clan if it has a site off of RSA, and GNC does), but LM, I just don't see why you're giving people who aren't in the clan ranks. If they can't control the channel, then isn't that basicly saying they're part of the clan? If that's so, then shouldn't GNC members be allowed into RSAC?

Just forget that I've said anything. I'm going back to playing BattleField 1942. Atleast my clan on that game doesn't let nonmembers have any special privilages.

I don't see what's the problem with RSA mods being ranked as Lieutenants in my clan.

After all i am Admin on this site, and they ARE my super Mods of course.
I mean i can't just leave them with no rank.

Our GNC members have more privledges as well. But we don't segregate people based
on ranks and power in our clan, just to let you know that.

The power is monitered by other Lieutenants and higher in the clan, so i don't see what
is the problem. If they find something, they'll report to me.

If i want to take action, then i will if need to be.

Besides i love my mods =) they're like family to me.
I see no wrong in giving my good friends a rank in the clan. In my terms,

A rank is something given based on trust. Starting at the lowest level, Recruit, i will
not give you any special jobs. But As Lieutenant and Captain, you're most likely going
to be in Council, or Agency.



However i do not see if this matters. Battlefield is different from my views of running a
clan. So far, my ways haven't failed me. Runescape and Battlefield is different. Games
have their own strategy and paths.

If you don't like the way i run my clan, you're welcome not to join. It's just the way of
life dear. I mean i love you, you're a great person. Make me think a lot but hey, that's
great. I can't force you to do anything you don't want to. And most of all...

You can't force your ideas upon me.

Mts, there is more to being in a clan than having a rank in the CC.

For example, I can't, and I don't think EB and Eclipse can either, see members only forums on her site. Those are what really affects the clan the most.

And yes, LM can see members only forums in my forum, but only because she's an admin like that =)

sorry for getting a bit off topic.

anyway i don't think LM or Cho are being hypocrits.

Imagine you and your close friend had your own clans but were on the same forums, there were people you trusted very much and kept thing in order (the mods in this case)but the rules were that if you joined your clan you couldn't join your friends clan. what would you do? make the people you trusted split into two groups or make them able to monitor both clans?

S.Mods are ranked in RSAC cchat. Theres a reason: It's the RUNESCAPEADDICTSclan. Not a clan that people on this forum just decided to make because they couldn't think of a name, but the RuneScapeAddicts. Because of the site.

And as Cho's stated, there's more to being ranked in a C.Chat... It's being involved in the clan

And LM can rank people however she wants in her clan.
