So why is it then a friend can not be a leader?

Can a friend not convince or enforce the best interest?

Must a leader strike fear in the very hearts of the lead?
Must a leader rule with an iron grip and extended ego?
Must a leader force their ideals unto the lead?


Is not a leader, chosen by the lead to protect and care for them?
Is that not a friend to the lead?

So why, can't their friend be their leader as well?
