| [accepted] Music Industry Writer (application) OK so I saw that there was a spot open for the music industry writer. Since music is my big topic, I decided to give it a shot.
This will be on two of my favorites, Chris Brown, and his Caribbean tour that is coming up, and Lil Wayne with the release of his new album.

Singer and dancer, Chris Brown, is visiting the Caribbean for a concert. After winning the BET 2008 Award for best male R&B artist on Tuesday night, He will be performing in Trinidad and Tobago on Sunday night at the Queens Park Savannah. He hits the stage at 8:30 p.m. and will not end his show until an hour and a half later. He has already performed in places such as Switzerland, Denmark, France, Sweden and England and this performance in Trinidad and Tobago is helping him become more of a global name in the music industry. With his newfound connection with singer Rihanna, who is from Barbados, we might be seeing more of him in the Caribbean. He will be returning to the U.S.
In other music news, rapper Lil Wayne's new album 'The Carter III', has passed the million mark with its release on June 10th. The project has made its #1 spot on the Billboard 200. Lil Wayne's hit "Lollipop" made a 75 slot jump from #75 to #9 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart after just two weeks of existence. It is currently at #1.Lil Wayne won the best male rap artist award during the 2008 BET Awards on Tuesday night. Wayne is currently in touring the country promoting The Carter 3 and will be hitting Califorina for a three day promo run stopping in San Diego, Fresno and West Hollywood.
