as you know I am turning 18 very soon and me and my gf are happy together, when i'm 18 im going to ask to marry her. :D

That's Great. Not wanting to be a drag thought - But do make sure. If things don't work out, you have your whole life ahead of you, which may be perturbed because of this. But seriously, don't make a life decision lightly. But i wish you every happiness and every congratulations. Also - Make sure you post wedding photo's on here! :) And that's my two pennies worth.

good luck Jam, maybe try to do it in a cool way. My science teacher wrote "Will you marry me" in this invisible ink stuff, and you needed to put oil or something on the paper and it would glow. I forget excatly but it was cool. Or do what they did in the movie "Definatly, Maybe" when the kids held up the words "Marry me" in the upstairs window. Either way good luck :)
