Ughherrr, Lots has changed in Runescape over the past, aye? I think that guide is still the same as before. Anyways, have fun in Runescape! :D
Also, why would they make it up? They don't silly! It's all the truth! Every comment is the truth! Well, almost every body tell the truth. You should feel not so good, or errrughh, not so well after that comment memecory! :D
Maybe the guide just doesn't want to work, errugh, yeah thats it. Mine works fine though. I don't know what to say, errugh.. Who knows.. Ughhhherr..Yeah. Maybe just a small, fixable problem.

i have 3 good ways to make money in runescape
1. rune essence- do the rune essence quest then mine till u have over 1k in rune essence then take them to the grand exchange and sell them for 38 gp ea (38x1k=38k)
2. smithing-mine tin and copper till mining lvl 15 then smelt them into bronze bars then smith thos till smithing lvl is 15 then start mining and smelting iron bars but dont smith the bars they sell for like 240gp ea so save them up till u have 2k then sell them (240x2k=480k)
3. wood cutting cut wood till lvl 15 then cut oak till lvl 30 then cut willows till lvl 60 then cut yew and save them up till u have 3k they sell for 600gpea then sell them (600x3k=1.8m)

also just sell steel/mith bars can get some cool money 20 mith bars is roughly 40k or 56k can't rember as i have moved on to attack and stoped fishing.
