Hi, I was just playing Runescape the other day, and realised I REALLY need to get my combat level up, it is really low(level 74) and need advice on training it up quite quickly

Defence:56

I may seem like a "noob" but I just need some advice, I haven't played it for a while so, I have completely forgotten.

I had the worst, most exhausting day of my life.

First of all, Even though I'm home schooled, I still have to go to a class every Thursday. My dad was at work and my mom was out of town. My brother doesn't have his license yet. So I was forced to ride my bike. riding my bike was extremely hard
1) Because its after summer and I am way out of shape
2) Because our school is 6-7 miles away from out house
3) That entire 6-7 miles was uphill
4) I forgot to bring a water or powerade or anything.

I come up the main hill, already exhausted. there is some flat ground, but still slightly uphill. 2 miles later, I come to a chevron gas station to take a break under an air conditioner sent from heaven. (It was like 110 Fahrenheit out their)
When I finally get to my school another mile later, I was 20 mins late. Luckily my teacher did not care too much. But even in class, taking a huge break, I felt rly dehydrated. I was sweating soo bad, and I was embarrassed because I was prolly stinking up the entire class room. Also, I could not focus on the work that my teacher gave me.
The ride back was a bit easier though. I still had to hop off my bike a few times because of flat ground.
I come home, there's a refrigerator in our garage. I chugged down a 32oz bottle of Powerade in 10 seconds, and didn't even notice. But my mouth felt kind of numb afterward

My advice to you: Dont live up in the mountains if you like biking.
I'm going to go take a nap now. Bye

1) open a new firefox or new tab on firefox

2) type in the address bar "about:config"

3) hit enter, and click "I'll be careful, I promise"

4) In the filter, type in "network"

5) scroll down to "network.http.pipelining" right click it, and click "toggle"

6) right under network pipelining, there will be another one that says "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" right click that, click modify, and change it from 4, to 10.

7) restart firefox!

He'll tear you apart!

Introduction:

Why Corporeal Beast?

Corporeal Beast is good for several reasons. He has some of the most expensive drops in the game.
One of those being the Divine Sigil, used to make the coveted Divine Spirit Shield. Let's not forget to
mention the fact that you don't have to kill 40 annoying little monsters to access him. Also, you can earn some
pretty decent defense xp. Overall, if you wanna get 99 defense while making some pretty serious cash, grab
yourself a Zamorakian Spear and go play some poker!

You said there is money involved!

Noteable drops include: 2000 Cannonballs
2500 Pure Essence
175 Onyx Bolts
Holy Elixir (Estimated drop rate: 1/200)
Spectral Sigil (Estimated drop rate: 1/1000)
Arcane Sigil (Estimated drop rate: 1/1000)
Elysian Sigil (Estimated drop rate: 1/1500)
Divine Sigil (Estimated drop rate: 1/1500)

What about prayer?

Magic prayer is the most commonly used prayer while fighting the Corporeal Beast.
Please be aware, his attacks can hit through prayer! Also, note that no prayer can
negate the Dark Energy Core's ability.

I) Armor:
You have two choices when it comes to your gear. You can range or melee. Magic is very
uneffective against Corp. Both styles have their ups and downs. Melee is better for higher levels, while
range is usually the style of choice for lower levels.

Range set-up: Helmet-- Armadyl > Neitiznot > Archer > Verac
Amulet-- Ranging > Fury > Glory
Cape-- Accumulator
Body-- Armadyl > Karil > Black D'hide
Legs-- Armadyl > Karil > Black D'hide
Bow-- Rune c'bow
Shield-- Elysian > Divine > Spectral > Blessed Spirit > Spirit > Unholy Book
Gloves-- Best Rfd > Bracers/Vambs
Bolts -- Ruby and Emerald ONLY
The method to use while ranging will be explained later on in the guide.

Melee set-up: Helmet-- Neitiznot > Berserker > Warrior > Proselyte

Super Set
3-4 Prayer Potions
Teleport Out (Still not required)
Darklight/Bone Dagger/Bgs/Swh
~19 sharks
It is recommended that you don't take a BoB. If you get too close, Corp will eat it, healing him a significant amount!

III) The Method:

Melee: Pray against magic when he is attacking you. IF YOU CAN, pray soul split when he is attacking somebody else
to save food. Some people prefer to wait outside while his attention is diverted toward them.
How it works: When the Corporeal Beast attacks somebody, he will hold attention toward them for a decent amount of time. To save huge amounts of food, run through the wall and wait in the second room until he attacks somebody else. This is considered "safe tanking".

Range: Pray against magic at all times. Be sure you stand away from him to prevent being attacked by melee. When the
dark core is spawned, be sure to switch to emerald bolts and stun it. Generally, a ranger can stay for longer periods of time
than warriors.

IV) Define that for me:
If there is and item above that you don't know what its purpose is, find out what it is here!

Divine Spirit Shield--Made after attaching a Divine Sigil to a blessed spirit shield. When in combat, it has a 100% chance to
negate 1/4 of all damage, with the cost of several prayer points!
Elysian Spirit Shield�Made after attaching an Elysian Sigil to a blessed spirit shield. When in combat, it has a 75% chance to negate � of all damage.
Spectral Spirit Shield�Made after attaching a Spectral Sigil to a blessed spirit shield. Has a +30 magic defense bonus.
BoB�Beast of Burden. Can hold 3, 9, 12, 18, or 30 inventory spaces.
Darklight--Reward from the quest "Shadow of the Storm". Decreases 5% from the opponent's attack, strength, and defense.
Bgs--Bandos Godsword. Decreases defense by amount hit, and continues decreasing from other combat stats thereafter.
Swh--Statius Warhammer. Decreases defense by a considerable amount (effects will stack).

V) Soloing:

Is it possible; can you solo the Corporeal Beast?
Yes! It is possible to solo the Corporeal Beast. But, it isn't easy! If you don't know what you are doing, you're as good as dead!

Is it worth it?
It depends. If you are maxed combat with overloads, full statius, and a Vesta Spear, it is definately worth it!
I've seen anything from a level 121 killing him once to a 138 getting 4 kills per trip!

How do I do it?
You're gonna need a lot of money and a lot of skillz! With a simple swh, a few venges, and a pack yak full of brews, you'll be soloing that monster right away. I'm not going into detail since most of you will probably never attempt it.

VI) Tips & Tricks:

If you start to experience slight lag during a fight, run out of the room while you have a chance! If the lag gets worse,
you may find yourself dead. Trust me on this one, I've lost millions upon millions because of this sole reason.

If you start to not like CS, trying out LS for awhile may prove to make you more money. For example, you go to a four
man LS and one of your friends gets a Divine Sigil. The rest of the team (including you) will receive around 180m lootshare potential. Take this potential to a mass and you may find yourself with a Divine Sigil of your own!

Try to be a warrior. Most teams prefer warriors over rangers. Just because rangers can hit 100 doesn't mean they hit it all the time! That's why most teams just use a hybrid, which uses melee until a ranger is needed.

Please forgive me for this guide being so short. I threw it together in about 30 minutes.

Wow my first posted guide.. here goes? Gtfo, don't post and tell me I need pictures.

Introduction:

Why Kree'Arra?

Pros:
� Most people Prefer Kree'arra, better known as Arma/Armadyl, because of the long periods of time you can stay there and the high value of the drops.
� A lot of good teams can stay upwards of 5-6 hours (Varies depending on levels/amount of people).
� The price of the hilt usually stays around 100-110m minimum.

Cons:
� Worlds are usually hard to find, especially on weekends. When the hilt price goes down, usually you can find a world rather quickly.
� The kill count is the second longest, taking around 15-20 minutes (depending on your Range).
� If you lag right before spawn, you are pretty much as good as dead.
� Trip prices start adding up if you don't get drops, especially for the "not-as-smart" people that don't pick up adamant bars during the KC.

What valuable items might I get? (Please note these prices are only estimates, the price could change at any time)

The most valuable items include: Armadyl Helmet-- ~4m (Estimated drop rate: 1/80)
Armadyl Chestplate-- ~18m (Estimated drop rate: 1/100)
Armadyl Plateskirt-- ~18m (Estimated drop rate: 1/100)
Armadyl Hilt-- ~100m (Estimated drop rate: 1/200)

I use magic prayer right?

DO NOT ever, under any circumstances, use magic or melee prayer while Kree'Arra is spawned. Not only will you
be called a noob, you will also most likely die. The correct prayer to use... would be range. After he has died, then
would be the time to use the other two prayers.

I) Armor:
Armor, just like anything else, can be divided into two categories: Welfare and Pro.
Most teams require that you have pro gear, but sometimes you can get away with welfare underdifferent conditions.

Welfare Set-up:

The welfare outfit will normally cost you about 10m.

Pro Set-up:

The pro outfit will cost you about 80-500m.

Inventory may vary depending on your stats and whether or not you take a BoB.

III) What does that do?:
Something in the inventory or armor set-up you don’t understand? Have no fear, for I will define some of them here.

Armadyl Pendant—Obtained from the Temple of Ikov quest, counts as an Armadyl item so you aren’t attacked.
Blessed Spirit Shield—After blessing a spirit shield with Holy Elixir, you have a blessed shield with increased bonuses.
Spirit Shield—A very cheap shield with decent bonuses. Can be obtained from the Summer’s End quest.
RFD—Recipe for Disaster. There are several types of “RFD” gloves available after completing sub quests.
Elysian Spirit Shield—Made after attaching an Elysian Sigil to a blessed spirit shield. When in combat, it has a 75% chance to negate � of all damage.
Spectral Spirit Shield—Made after attaching a Spectral Sigil to a blessed spirit shield. Has a +30 magic defense bonus.
Mith Grapple—Used to enter Armadyl’s Eerie.
BoB—Beast of Burden. Can hold 3, 9, 12, 18, or 30 inventory spaces.

III) Other Items:
� Enhanced Excalibur for 20 hp every 5 minutes.
� Overloads if you have 96 herblore.

IV) Soloing:
I really don't recommend soloing, unless you really, really want to. But if it's a do-it-or-die thing... just take exactly what you would for a normal Armadyl trip. Make sure you keep your distance from Kree’Arra so you don’t get hit by melee (see note).

NOTE: WHEN SOLOING, IT IS HIGHLY LIKELY TO BE HIT WITH MELEE. KREE’ARRA’S MELEE ATTACKS CAN HIT UP TO 50!

V) What If...?:
What if I die? If you die, don't worry! Your friends will most definitely bless your grave. Just get everything you would normally need on a trip and go get the 40 kc, go in, get your stuff, and then teleport out to start a new trip.

What if everybody leaves? If everybody leaves, just leave with them, and then find a new team.

But what if everybody dies? If everybody dies, slowly bless all of their graves and then do as many solos as you can, then leave.

VI) Tips & Tricks:
If you don’t want to spend way too much per trip, consider taking shark in your BoB instead of brews and restores. (e.g., a Pack Yak full of sharks = 10 brews)

Most people, when using overloads, use prayer potions instead of super restores. Why? Because all decreased stats are fully restored every 15 seconds!

Taking a ranging potion with you to do the kc can save a lot of time. Just drink 1 dose every 10 kills and it should speed up your kc, making you even more money!

How do you make money in RuneScape?

Well i thought i might as well post this because im sure many people here went through the process of getting a 99. I picked this as my first because I've heard it was one of the easiest. All i can say is it is so boring... but on the other hand when I have the cape it will all be worth it. Right now im 91 but by the end of the night I'll have 92 (im only 150k away). Well anyway wish me luck!:roar:

Hey guys im new to the forum just wanted to jump in and say hello. In case your wondering im a lvl 92 combat right now and my username is RathfulG0d. Currently im working on 99 wc (lvl 91 now) and im always in world 91.

I've been farming spirit weed, while fishing lobsters in catherby..... I bought 20 spirit weed seed's i'm down to like ehhh 12? I think.... I've fished 1.4k lobbies so far. I plan on going to either 1.5 or more than likely 2k+. IDK. I'm thinking about buying my seeds and just keep going for a bit. Then once i'm done farming and fishing I'm going to cook all the lobbies get cooking up. I think i'm going to buy the seeds to get to 60 farm. Just fish all the way through and cook the lobbies. That would get me some serious levels.

What do you guys think about these new sets? At first i thought they looked kind of bad, but after this video and picture i think it's kind of cool. It reminds me of knights in medieval times tho would wear the crest of their castle or something. Idk, but i think it looks pretty cool.
