here is the latest news:

Gnome Copters will be coming out this month (March) Either today, tomorrow or next week. no one is sure...

BUT! (This bit sent we into happiness) Two members Mini-game area are going to be released to free people. The castle wars arena, just the building, is going to be released.

And the area the size of a little island: The void knight outpost, and pest control, may well become free.

Along with that more newer releases may be showered on members for their loss!

Noone actually knows what Gnome copters actually do....They may take you to major cities. ect.

My own, personal theory is that there will be an acomponying quest with gnome copters to make you available to use them!

ok james you know hiow happy i am with this news im in shocked but at the same time doubting whether this is real or i am dreaming! i love jagex now i hated them because of wildy update etc but now they are making up for it! and do u have any proof that these updates are acctually comming out or is it just romours?

all i know is that the gnome copters are supposed to take you around and you get to look at areas from above. well thats what it says in the behind the scenes thing.

im pretty sure that castle wars and pest control not comming to f2p lol i told lodes of people it was *slaps head* but gnome thing is comming out so dats gd :) (we can just hope we are lucky and c wars and pest control comes out *croses fingers*)

If they do make castle wars f2p then they would have to make duelling rings f2p aswell otherwise there would be no way to get there. Its on the far western side of RS, with duel arena it was easy because its in Al-Kharid, which is already a f2p city. If they make enchanted emerald rings f2p (which is what duelling rings are) then shouldnt they make enchanted rings from other gems available (sapphire-diamond)?

Pest control would fit nicely in f2p because the way to get there is by taking a boat from Port Sarim, which is already available in f2p. They would just have to alter some of the rewards like herbs (herblore won't become f2p so no point in herb rewards) & void knight armour itself seems too good to be allowed on f2p, its ownage! Plus the staff only autocasts spells like claws of guthix & air/water/earth/fire wave spells (they use blood runes, next up from deaths).

Some how I dont see this happening though. When I read the 'Behind the scenes' for this month I assumed they would make completely new minigames that not even members have seen.

My guess is that the gnome copters can fly you to castle wars and pest control.

But yea, they would have to alter pc's rewards.

0 yea they would have to alter a lot of the rewards. When i do pest control (being hopefull) im gonna try and get the full set of those clothes :)
