[edit] What is Lumbridge?

Lumbridge is the city you start off in, fresh from Tutorial Island, in Runescape. If you die, you return to Lumbridge (unless you have done the Recruitment Drive quest, when you can change it to Falador). You also have a free teleport to here, although you may only use it once every 30 minutes. Many new players hang out here and it is occasionally known as noob central.

You can start many quests here including Cook's Assistant, Restless Ghost, and the Rune Mysteries quest.

There is a Castle, Axe shop, Bank, General Store, and Church.

Due to the amount of new players, a few scammers lurk around here.
