farming in runescape is like farming in real life as you have to wait for your crops to grow and there is a chance of disease but it can be fixed/ prevented.

I don't know much about farming but I do know that you need a few things. A seed dibbler(its called something like that) a rake, some seeds, and an allotment to plant them in. You use the seed dibbler to plant the seeds after you rake away the weeds. You should also pay the local gardener to take care of your crops in case you need to leave for some reason. You can later pick your crops. Another way to earn farming exp is to play the witches garden minigame and pick the herbs. You get two herbs and a small amount of farming exp.
[edit] How do you find your farming level?
- Go to the skills tab noted by a graph while playing the game.
- Go down to the picture of a watering can in the third column on the seventh row.
- Your level will be ?/? with the question marks replaced by numbers.

The first number in the sequence is what your level is at at the moment. The second number is what you have trained the skill to be.
