Dwarven Stout
A Dwarven Stout is a drink that can be bought from the Rising Sun Bar in Falador and the bar in Burthorpe. You can also find it respawning under the White Wolf Mountain. Or, you could kill either Rock Golems or Rockslugs to possibly retrieve the thick brew. It costs only 3gp from stores, but it raises both your smithing and mining by 1 level for a short period of time, but unfortunately it decreases your Strength, Attack and Defence.
Once you get up to very high levels, it is very hard to level up. If you need a boost to smith an item that is at the next level, but 1 million XP away, this is the right drink for you. (eg - Rune Platebody at level 99) It also can allow you to get into the mining guild at 59 Mining. When it wears off, you can still stay in the mining guild at 59 mining until you leave. When you leave, you will need to drink another Dwarven Stout to get back in.
Dwarven Stout's are served up in a Beer glass. The Dwarven Stout is a dark black color, requires no nothing to use it and it gives you 1gp as a high alchemy reward.
