Capes are easy to get you can kill highway men to get black capes red ones at varrock clothes shop and blue capes at the champ guild or you can make your own. all are very cheap (exept champ guild) and are easy to get. more on making capes later or can someone edit this page so i dont have to do it. Other good capes like Obsidian Cape costs 300k but are good in defence. Fire/lava cape is best. Both are members.

Quick tip:to get blue capes cheap go to the falador gardens and buy 2 woad leave, then go to the witch who makes dye in the town east of port sarim,get her to make blue dye,then go buy a red cape and use dye-cape viola! you dye the cape blue! tip byyoyo

There are lot of different capes in the Realm of Runescape there are some which need specific levels or need a MINI-GAME completed...the coolest capes in the game are the "ledgends cape, fire cape and obsidan cape"! i will now say all of the capes with explanation and where to get the cape from. FREE TO PLAY CAPES!: Normal cape: there are seven different normal capes with different colours black, yellow, green, blue, red, purple and orange. the stats are :defense: slash+1, crush+1 and range+2 EXPLANATION:you can get the black cape from killing highwaymen then in draynor you can talk to haggie the witch to get different coloured dyes by collecting different items.

MEMBER CAPES (P2P): Fremmenik capes: These capes are a bit more stylish than the first ones mentioned above. They come in a wider range of colors and are more bright. These capes come from Rellekka, found in the Fremennik Province located just north of Seers Village. When you've completed the Fremennik Trials Quest, Fremenniks may buy these capes from the shop for 325 gp. They come in: Cyan, Red, Brown, Green, Gold, Gray, Pink, Purple, Black, Lavender and Blue. Stats: Attack: Defense: Slash+1, Crush+1, Range+2.

GOD CAPES:god capes represent the 3 different gods: ZAMORAK, GUTHIX and SARADOMIN you need to have 60 magic and need to have defeated "kolodion" in the Mage Arena in the wilderness. Stats: Attack: Magic+10, Range+0. Defense: Slash:+1, stab+1, crush+2, magic+10.

WILDERNESS TEAM CAPES: The capes you see here, are mostly for clans. Wilderness capes range from cape #1-50. When worn in the wilderness, other players who wear the same cape as you cannot be attacked, so if you're in a clan, no "accidents" will happen. When another player is wearing the same wilderness cape, their dot on your mini-map is blue. you can buy these capes from different wanderers with bags on their back in or out of the wilderness. The capes come in 5 different colors:pink or purple, gold, blue, green, red.

TzHaar Capes

These capes are located under the hot volcano on Karamja. The best capes in the whole game are here, even a cape that moves! Do you have what it takes to get these capes?

OBSIDAN CAPE:this cape is made from lots of obsidan chains put together this cape you get for 90k tokkul (tzhaar money) or buy from other players it is one of the most loved capes in runescape STATS:Stats: Defense: Slash+9, Stab+9, Crush+9, Magic+9, Range+9.

Fire (Lava) Cape: this is the best cape in the realm of Runescape, yes the best and it is the only cape that is animated!!! there is lava on the cape that swims down the cape and it is the best cape in the game because it is also very very hard to achieve! you must defeat "JAD" which is the strongest monster in the game. to get this wonderful cape you must complete the "tzhaar fight caves" Stats: Attack: Slash+1, Stab+1, Crush+1, Magic+1, Range+1. Defense: Slash+11, Stab+11, crush+11, magic+11, range+11. Strength+4. Prayer+2

LEDGENDS CAPE: This is the only white cape in the whole game. This Legends Cape is the third best cape in RuneScape. To get this cape, you have to finish the Legends Quest to obtain it. You buy it at the Legends Guild store for 675gp. So when you finish the quest, go and buy yourself the only white cape in the game and wear it with pride and honor. These cost a lot less than the Obsidian Cape and only give 2 less bonus points than the Obsidian Cape but its still great! STATS: Defense: Slash+7, Stab+7, Crush+7, Magic+7, Range+7.

CASTLE WARS CLOAKS: These cloaks are yet again to represent the gods of RuneScape, but this time only Saradomin and Zamorak. They are bought at the Castle Wars Mini-Game shop for 10 Castle Wars Tickets. STATS:Defense: Slash+1, Crush+1, Magic+0, Range+2.

GHOSTLY CLOAK: This cloak can be obtained if you have gotten to a certain stage in the Desert Treasure Quest or have completed it. it is called the ghostly cloak because when you wear it you become transparent (ghostly) there is also a full set. Stats: Attack: Magic+5. Defense: Magic+5.

MOURNER'S CLOAK This cloak is obtained while doing the quest Morning's End - Part One. It goes along with the mourner suit. It gives no added equipment bonuses.

H.A.M. CLOAK: No, not the meat ham! This is the Humans Against Monsters cult in RuneScape. This can be obtained by pickpocketing a H.A.M. member or by killing them. Wearing this cloak will give you a better chance to pickpocket a H.A.M. member. Stats: Attack: Slash+0, stab+0, crush+0, magic+0, range+0. Defense: Slash+1, Stab+0, crush+1, magic+0, range+2.

HUNTER CAPES: These capes are a reward from the falconry when hunting there. The spotted cape needs 2 spotted kebbit furs and 400gp to make and you must have lvl 40 hunter to wear it. While wearing it your weight is decreased by 2-3kg. The spottier cape needs 2 dashing kebbit furs and 800gp to make and you must have lvl 66 hunter to wear it. While wearing it your weight is decreased by 4-5kg. Stats: Defense: Slash+0, Stab+1, crush+1, magic+0, range+2

ACHIEVEMENT CAPES (also known as Skill Capes): Last but not least, The most respected capes in runescape...they are respected because only players with a skill level 99 can wear this cape the capes cost 99k to buy and there is a hood and cape when the emote is used the stat will no loner be (for about 5 minutes)99, but instead will turn into 100! use the achievement cape emote and show off to other people! STATS: All skill capes give +9 in every defense level when untrimmed, and +11 when trimmed, along with a +4 prayer bonues *EDIT BY SARAM0N*
