Cape of Achievement
From Runescape Guides & Runescape Tips
Capes of Achievement are also known as Cape of Accomplishment and Skill Capes. They offer great stat benefits at +9 for every defense category and +4 prayer, if the cape is trimmed. You are able to buy skill capes for 99k from special masters of the skill upon reaching level 99 in the skill. Wearing the skill cape and hood will entitle you to the stat boosts that were mentioned and access to a special emote that is inherent to the skill cape you have. Once the emote is used, you have a 100/99 in that category for a short period of time. In the case of prayer and hitpoints, the boosts to 100 can only be used once per minute because those can be used to gain a substantial advantage in combat, if the effects of the emote could be infinitely used. The Skill Cape is member's only, and once you get 2 level 99 skills, you can buy trimmed skill capes which gives you an additional +4 prayer bonus with the +9 in every defense category. You are not able to get non-trimmed skill capes once you have more than 1 99 skill, and if you had a skill cape that you bought before you gained 2 99 skills, it becomes automatically trimmed upon getting 99 in 2 skills. The Quest Cape is a special cape that is gained by completing all the quests. When a new quest is made, the cape is unequipped and not equippable until the new quest is completed. They are a symbol of strength in Runescape. Many people have capes in cooking and fletching which is much less impressive than a cape in mining or attack because of the difficulty it takes to train the latter skills to 99 compared to the first two.
