3. Grand Exchange Merchanting

If you managed to have some millions after working hard as a tanner now it’s time for you to be a grand exchange merchant. Grand exchange is buying items at a low price and selling them at a higher price which means you gain the difference as a profit. All transactions are done by using the grand exchange which means you don’t have to work anymore. All you need to do is to wait and check the price movements regularly. It takes about 2 days of buying time and 2 days of selling time.

Recommended items to merchant:

  • Air runes
  • Cosmic runes
  • Chaos runes
  • Nature runes
  • Law runes
  • Big bones
  • Swordfish
  • Gold ores

Air rune is the cheapest item to merchant in that selection. With 17m investment you can earn as much as 1m in 4 days.

17m/17gp = 1m air runes > sell air runes for 18gp each = 1m profit
