All players convince themselves that the quests, skills or items force them to play. In reality,though, it’s the rich atmosphere that surrounds us in-game. With over 100,000 players online ,24/7/365, the community is vibrant and healthy. Although the forums are restricted to paying members, dozens of online communities exist, providing a social, virtual aspect to the off-game world. As a RuneScape player for over 5 years, I can scarcely believe how far we’ve come. With guides for everything, from mining, to fishing, to questing, to moneymaking, to hunting, to scamming, to runecrafting, to merchanting…Need I say more? We truly believe in RuneScape as an extension of real life.
