Location: The Squire in Falador Castle
Materials: Blurite Ore, 2 Iron Bars, Redberry Pie, Portrait of Sword.

The Guide:
Starting Off:
- Talk to the Squire in Falador Castle. Ask him how he is and he will tell you that he lost Sir Vyvin’s Sword. He also tells you that the sword was made by the Imcando Dwarves. Ask the Squire if the dwarves can make him another, and he will tell you to pay a visit to his friend, Reldo, who resides in the Varrock Castle’s Library, as he will help you learn more about these dwarves.
- Now go to Varrock and find Reldo. He is in the Varrock Castle on the first floor, all the way to the north side of the building. Tell him you would like to know more about the Imcando Dwarves. He will tell you that almost all of them were wiped out by Barbarian Attacks, but some may still be alive. He says to check the cliffs near Port Sarim.
Finding the lost Imcando Dwarf:![]()
- With this information, go to Port Sarim and walk south towards a place named Mudskipper Point. On the way there you will find a little shack with an anvil in it, and a fat little dwarf named Thurgo walking around. This is the dwarf you are trying to find.
Now, a little help. This dwarf will only talk to you if you are holding his favourite food; a red berry pie. A helpful tip would be to bring one of these pies to him the first time so you don’t need to make two trips. You can obtain a pie on the Grand Exchange, by trading with other players, or by cooking it yourself with level 10 Cooking. - Once you give Thurgo his pie, he will tell you he can help if you get him a picture of what the sword looks like.
Getting the Sword:
- Now, head back to the Squire and ask him for a picture. He says that Sir Vyvin has a picture of it in his cupboard. Go upstairs and into the next room to the south. There should be a cupboard on the wall, search it, and you get your portrait.

- Go back to Thurgo and show him the picture. He tells you he needs 2 Iron Bars, and 1 Blurite Ore. You can smith the Iron Bars yourself, or buy them on the Grand Exchange, but the Blurite Ore is much harder to get.
- To get the ore, walk out of Thurgo’s house and go east. Make sure you have
a pickaxe with you! There is a hole in the ground, so climb down that. The path is pretty straightforward. Simply run past the Muggers and Pirates and go east on the bottom passage. The ground will turn to ice, so stop there. - Before going ahead, make sure your run is turned “on” and you have looked to see where the rocks are. They are located on the south eastern side of the cavern, so run there and mine the rocks quickly. You need level 10 mining to do this. Hopefully, if you get the ore quickly enough you can leave the cave with your Blurite ore.
- After you get the ore, report back to Thurgo with both ore and iron bars. He will make you your sword which you can give to the Squire. Once you hand it over, the quest is complete!
Rewards:
- 1 Quest Point
- 12,725 Smithing Exp.
If you mine extra blurite and bring extra iron bars, make one sword, then drop it. Ask Thurgo to make another one becasue you lost yours, and you will get an extra one to keep!
ah this article reminds me of the great old days when me and my friends used to pretend to be sick to play runescape hehe. Thanks for the ancient good memories!
