LOW (Level 3-10)
Are you wondering how to make cash for your first set?
- Did you know that raw chicken is worth about 72 gp in the Grand Exchange?
- Raw materials are worth a lot! Example: Logs, bones and leather.
- Although Logs are often considered worthless, they can be worth 25 gp each in the G E!
- (After Rune Mysteries) Rune essence mining makes steady money.
MEDIUM (Level 11-30)
By now, you are able to use combat to your advantage! If you’re looking for a fast and relatively easy way to make 10-20k, try doing the two Strongholds.
- Quests for money-Pirate’s Treasure,Shield of Arrav,Black Knight’s Fortress, Ernest the Chicken…
- Mining iron/coal (HIGH DEMAND)
- Fishing-Trout,Salmon,Tuna
- Woodcutting-BE PATIENT
HIGH (Level 31-60)
Higher levels, this is the time for your first million! Investing in the RS stock market may be the road to fortune, but start off with at least a 100k. Just like in real life, investing can be risky.
Tip: Never sell things at peak value, because everyone will be trying to sell them. Instead, sell them when they’re visibly rising in price.
If you’re wary of investing, or need your 100k start money, here is how!
- Woodcutting-60+ woodcutting + Chopping Yews= $$$ (Patience is a virtue!)
- Mining-40+ mining + iron/coal= $$ (Beware of competition!)
- Smithing-30+ Smithing + Smithing Steel Bars= $$$
- Done Dragon Slayer? Use the secret wall and kill Lesser Demons-Rune Meds,Death Runes…
HIGH SCORES (Level 61-90)
You have a higher level and likely are a member. Want full dragon or a rare item?

- Fishing-Lobsters/Swordfish
- Merchanting-THINK…Buy Strength Potions (2) and make into (4) and sell them.

- Killing Druids for Herbs (FoG Helps)
- Herb Respawns=$$
- Farming-Sell Marigolds=$$$
- Wolf Bone Respawn

not great. i am cmbt lvl 55 and have been selling lobbies raw since lvl 40. 100 lobs fetch 34-36k and are good xp too.
