Introduction:

You meet a strange witch in a small broken down village. She sais she could teach you dark secrets of magic, once she finishes her potion. But first, you have to get her some ingredients…

Location: South- Eastern house in Rimmington

Materials:

• Burnt meat
• Rat’s Tail
• Eye of Newt
• Onion

Reward: 1 quest point, 325 magic experience

The Guide: Talk to Hetty in her house in Rimmington, and she will tell you to get her: A rat’s tail, burnt meat, an eye of newt, and an onion to make a potion in her cauldron.

• Rats Tail:
Kill a few rats in Rimmington until one drops a rat’s tail. They will only drop it once you started the quest, and will stop dropping it when you complete the quest.

• Burnt Meat:
There are several ways you can get burnt meat. You can buy meat from the G.E, or kill a cow to get meat. Then cook the meat on a low level range or fire. If you didn’t burn the meat, you can use the cooked meat again on a range to deliberately burn it. Also, imps and zombies occasionally drop burnt meat.

• Eye of Newt:
You can buy an eye of Newt in Betty’s magic store in Port Sarim for 3gp, or you could buy one at the G.E. If you are a member, you can also buy them at the Herb store in Entrana or in Taverly.

• Onion:
Complete the quest by going to the small field north of Rimmington, and picking an onion. Once you have all four items, go back to Hetty.

Ending the quest:
Go back to Hetty, and give her the four items. She will then finish the potion, allowing you to drink from the Cauldron. Drink from it, and congradulations, you completed the quest!
