Sheep Shearer
Introduction:
Fred the Farmer has a little sheep problem, and is looking for someone to help him out.
Of course, he is offering a little reward for anyone interested…
Difficulty Rating: Beginner
Requirements: None
Location: The farm-house northwest of Lumbridge, right besides the fenced area with the sheep.
Materials:
- Around 400- 500gp Or Shears
Reward: 1 quest point, 60 coins, 150 crafting Exp
The Guide:
1. Talk to Farmer Fred in his house north of Lumbridge, and ask him for a quest. He will tell you to get him 20 balls of wool from shearing his sheep.
Buying the wool:
a) If you want to quickly get it over with, you can buy the balls of wool from the Grand Exchange north of Varrock for around 20gp each. Also if you are a member, you can buy the wool from the Ardougne General Store, or Lletya Crafting Store. Of course, you can also buy them from other players.
Shearing and Crafting the wool:
b) But, If you want to actually enjoy the quest, and get some extra Exp, get your Shears ready and go out to the sheep field (if you forgot your Shears, or don’t know where to get them, there is an extra pair on the table in Fred’s house.)
2. In the field use the "Sheer" opinion on the sheep on several sheep’s until you have 20 pieces of wool (Its not balls of wool, yet). Be careful not to accidently attack the Rams, since they cant be sheared. Also realize there is an un-shear-able "penguin" sheep that cant be sheared, that is used in the Cold War quest.
(Its possible that the sheep will run away, but don’t worry, just keep on trying.)
3. Now that you have 20 pieces of wool, go to the second floor in the Lumbridge Castle, and go to the first room to the right.
4. There, use the "Spin" opinion on the Spinning Wheel, and make 20 balls of wool.(There are also other places where you find a spinning wheel)
Ending the quest:
Go back to Farmer Fred and give him 20 pieces of wool. He will…well…er…thank you and give you your reward.
QUEST COMPLETE!
Rewards:
- 150 crafting experience
- 60 coins
- 1 quest point
this is the easiest quest
