Introduction:

Doric is more then willing to let you use his anvils, but you must get some materials for him first.

Difficulty Rating: 1

Requirements: None, but 15 mining would be helpful.

Location/NPC: Doric, North-east of Falador

Materials: A pickaxe (one will be provided), or about 3000 gold coins.

Reward: 1300 mining exp, 180 coins, and the ability to use Doric’s Anvil.

The Guide: There are two ways to do this quest. You could mine the requested ore itself, or buy it at the Grand Exchange before starting. Here is the more difficult way…

1 To start off with, go off a bit north of Falador, and you’ll see a small house. Go inside and speak to Doric and ask him if you could use is anvils, and he’ll say Yes, if you bring him 6 clay, 4 copper ore, and two iron ore. Doric will then hand you a bronze pickaxe to mine the ore with.

2. Leave the house and get back on the dirt road and head east to Ice mountain (see Image). At the bottom of the mountain is a the Dwarven Mines. Head into the workplace and you should see a trapdoor. Climb down that, and head south deeper into the mines. You should come across some copper and iron ore. Mine 6 copper ores, and 2 of the iron ores. Mine those and head a bit further down. And you’ll find the clay – mine 6 of them!.

3. Return the ore back to Doric by the path, and you can smith away on his anvils!
