The Restless Ghost
Introduction:
Father Aereck, the priest in the Lumbridge church, fears a ghost that is haunting the church’s graveyard, and is to afraid to deal with the problem himself…
Difficulty Rating: Easy
Length: Short
Requirements: Ability to kill, or deal with a level 13 skeleton.
Location: Lumbridge Church
Materials: None
The Guide:
1. Start off by speaking to Father Aereck in the Church east of Lumbridge Castle. He appears to have some trouble with a ghost that resides in his graveyard, and asks you to speak with Father Urhney.
2. Go south-west of Lumbridge into the swamp. All the way, on the southwest corner, is a small house where you can talk to Father Urhney. He believes that to get the ghost to leave, you will have to communicate with the ghost, so he will give you a Ghost-speak amulet. (Note, you can’t have more than one at a time, so if you lose yours, Father Urhney will give you another one.)
3. Put on the Ghost-speak amulet, and go to the Lumbridge graveyard (you cant miss it!), which is right there, south of the church. Go inside the small house, and open the coffin (sometimes, you have to "search" it). Talk to the ghost, and he will tell you that he cant leave until he retrieves his lost skull.
4. Prepare yourself to kill a level 13 skeleton, and go to the Wizard’s Tower, south-west of Lumbridge, and south of Draynor Village (shown in picture above). Go downstairs to the basement, and go to the large south eastern room. Search the altar there and a level 13 skeleton will appear. Kill it, or take the skull and run back to the ghost in Lumbridge.
(Note, any other skull retrieved from any other location will not work.)
Finishing the quest:
5. Once you are back in the small house in the graveyard, use the skull on the coffin. You will see a cut-scene of the ghost thanking you, and leaving. You have completed the quest!
