Introduction:
For quite some time, many wizards across Runescape have been studying the secret practice known as Rune-crafting. Just recently, the Lumbridge Duke found an ancient talisman, and needs your help to deliver it to an close- by wizard. Apparently, that wizard just might be keeping some very vital information…

The Guide:

1. Start off the quest by speaking to Duke Horacio, in the second floor of the Lumbridge Castle.
Ask him if he has any quests for you, and he will tell that he found a strange talisman, and would like you to deliver it to the head wizard of Wizards Tower for further inspections. (If you lose your talisman, you can ask the duke for another.)

2. Take the talisman to the Wizard’s Tower, which is southwest of Lumbridge, on a small island west of the swamp. (you can check for it in the world map). Go downstairs to the basement, and go inside the first room to the left. Talk to Wizard Sedridor and tell him you are looking for the head wizard.
He will tell you he is the head wizard, and after a chat, you will show him the talisman, to which he will be surprised. Without explaining much, he will give you a research package, and will tell you to give it to Aubury in his Rune Shop in Varrock.
(Again if you lose it, all you have to do is ask him again.)

3. Head to Varrock, and go to the rune shop located in the picture below. Talk to Aubury, and tell him Wizard Sedridor has sent you to give him a message, and Aubury will ask to see the package. Wait a few seconds, and talk to him again. He will then give you some research notes, and tell you to give it back to Wizard Sedridor.

Ending the quest:

4. Go back to Wizards Tower, and give the research notes to Wizard Sedridor. He will be thrilled, and after your curiosity breaks in, he will finally teach you the secrets of Rune-crafting.
