Free-to-Players sighted in Official Runescape Forums
If you have 12.5 million experience points, that is.
This is definitely a take from the new CEO. And I gotta say once more: a step in the right direction.
Allowing F2P runescapers to the forums would be more than expected after he announced what he had in mind for the future of the game. But he couldn’t simply let everyone get access to it, right? So, in my humble and honest opinion, I think he did well on setting an experience minimum, and the 12.5 barrier, although maybe a bit too high, fits its purposes, and gives the experienced Runescape players a good prize for their fidelity.
So, if you have more than needed for it, and always wanted to try the excitement of the Official Forums, why don’t you go there and see for yourself?
If, on the other hand, you prefer a calm, warm but also exciting community to spend a good while, I’ll see you inĀ RSA Forums.
How much is 12.5 Mill Exp points in each stats?
hey i was wondering why did he request a minimum because i think that its not fair, some of the levels are 3-39 so if you dont agree with me its fine.
12.5 mill xp is around level 72 in every F2P skill. =/ Pretty high, right?
And vlado, he had to put a minimum, imho. It may have been too high, but I trust they’re gonna lower it with time.
ROFL. 12.5 MILLION experience points? That does NOTHING to keep idiots out of the forums, and ends up giving players and obligation for leveling up F2P skills that otherwise will never ever be used. Level 72 fishing? Lol. What’s the use when I’m still fishing swordies. Level 72 cooking? frivalous. Level 72 firemaking? There’s no real reason to level up past the lowest of levels!
The reward? Something ENTIRELY unrelated to gameplay: access to a forum that has a pretty poor reputation
so u guy mean u must have to get every skill up to 71 72 73 to get ing.!!!!! thats realy dum because if u get them all up to that lvl u are a mem so u dont need to……
u can only pay $5 to be a mem and get in so much easyer!!
( LOL THATS SO DUM ALL THEY WANT U TO DO IS LVL UP ALSO I AM PROUD TO SAY I LOVE JUST PUREING SO HERES A SHOUT OUT TO ALL MY PURES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! )
i think its a good min because members need something worth there money if everything turned non mem there would be no point
what? 12.5m experience that is an outrage! i have almost played for 2 years and i only have 2m xp can any 1 tell me how to easily get that xp?
i think the minimum is pretty good, keeps spammers who just make lvl 3 accounts out. And it’s easy 2 get, if your not a noob.
Not very easy.
You must be a pretty high levelled player to have 12.5million Xp
12.5 million xp is a little extreme. I’ve had my f2p account since 2001 and have about 2.6 million xp. It is very difficult for F2p accounts to level, so a min of 10 mil would even be respectable.
Still, Since I no longer have anything to aim for in RS (5mil is alot of money for a f2p account), this will give me something to do, even if it is a bit extreme. I mean, at 74 wc, I’d have to cut down 47k Yews (21mil worth) in order to reach 12.5mil xp.
I’ve been around since before memberships existed, and I’ve watched f2p get close to nothing since then. Maybe this glimmer of hope will open up new opportunities.
i just want to use the forums to find a shield of arrav partner! I don’t wanna have to level up so high!
i think its a good limit. like said before members want to get there moneys worth so just letting anyone into the forum would destroy the fan base of runescape
i have been playing runescape for almost 2 years now and i almost have enough xp to get in.
i have about 10.5 mil xp and the only reason you should get f2p skills up to such a high level is if you need the skill for money or want level 99 (which isn’t really a big accomplishment in f2p since there are no skill capes to be bought)
I don’t have 12.5 million xp but if you do can you please as for a specific “Shield Of Arrav” world so it is easier to do the quest. I have done it but it took me ages to find a partner. I understand how bluemms feels.
