Jagex’s New CEO, MMG, has answered a few of RuneScape’s questions.

As you can see, here out of the 10,000 questions submitted, he has carefully chosen, and answered, the best.

A new JaGeXian,he stated that he will definitely being “dropping in” on RuneScape events, fiercely enjoys FunOrb, staying up late playing RuneScape, and has a watchful role in improving RuneScape!

In fact, he seems quite like an average RuneScape player.

He’s clearly quite intelligent, in this short “interview” conducted, carefully dodging controversial questions about the possibility of F2P quests, and the choice for the upcoming RuneScape language translation. Intriguingly enough, there is no mention of MechScape in these questions, a topic of much interest and secrecy. Hopefully, his new policy regarding “openness” in the JaGeX system will encourage his inevitable announcement of the release date. He agreed with supporting RuneScape fan sites, such as ourselves, and said that he had previously gone to them for help; during particularly tricky quests. Many policies are likely to remain in place, including JaGeX’s static membership fee, although the global economy has entered a recession. Slowdown in all economic sectors is obvious, but M.M.G. is very optimistic, anticipating not only profit, but growth, through these hard times. He does not develop any game content, and he believes in letting “…the experts do what they do best.”
