Once upon a time, a nice little forum was born, now there was one member of this forum who would one day grow up to be a Queen Bee. Now, this forum started life as a small, Runescape community, but this Queen Bee didn’t want that. She wanted a thriving forum with knee deep faithful members.

That dream still lives today, and with the posting of this article in the new blog we, as a forum, take a step closer to becoming a great forum community. But the thing that makes this forum, blog and wiki great is the members that contribute to them. The members that make wiki articles, post frequently in the forums are the ones that will someday help us excel to be the Runescape forum.

New people to our forums look for something special. Guides are among the more popular, so sometimes a member comes, and writes some amazing guides! This encourages some to read them, who may tell their friends about this awesome guide they saw on Runescape Addicts. More will come to read it, and some may join. People will create pages in the wiki, and other will read with interest, may comment and get stuck in on the forums.

If a drop of water gets through a dam the rest will follow until a whole tidal wave appears. If you write a wiki page, a guide, or anything, it could influence a few people to join. Make sure you are contributor!

So maybe, one day, the young Queen Bee can look back at these forums, and think to herself “I did make a difference, just look at this place now” And maybe you will too. And so, they all lived happily ever after in a thriving community or friendly, helpful people.
